For me, week doesn't end until I've hit 25 conversations. Not 'calls' or 'dials', conversations.

3) Find a systematic way to remind people you exist (i.e. marketing)
Opportunities come from people and a sale is made when the time & needs align.

4) Develop real relationships with empathy.
Sizing up the scene from the other persons vantage point makes you much more effective in executing on the right solutions.

5) Stick with it, most people quit too early.
Sometimes a slow couple of days gets confused with grass being greener elsewhere. Make your calls, keep learning more about the product/players in your market and you'll be fine.
