Russian occupation forces in the east of Ukraine are made up of the 1st (Donetsk) and 2nd (Luhansk) Army Corps, 8th Combined-Arms Army, Southern Military District, Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
During December the occupiers secretly imported fuel, war matériel, weapons, ammunition, electronic warfare equipment and UAVs by road and rail from the Russian Federation to the 1st & 2nd Army Corps. Fake “humanitarian convoys” were a component of this military resupply.
Russian military personnel and mercenaries-citizens of the Russian Federation are sent to the invasion battlefront in Donetsk and Luhansk, Ukraine, to fill military specialties: scouts, snipers, artillerymen, liaison officers, specialists in electronic reconnaissance and warfare.
