My latest (fifth) 30 day suspension from #Farcebook did not even take discussing any aspect of the pandemic. It was me sharing a 23 second video make by my buddy @RebeccaTig that shows...the Earth (and my substack URL).
By the end of this month, I will have served just under half of a year in 10 total suspensions. Never have I been told that my information was incorrect, or in what way it was incorrect.
That's the offensive video I uploaded moments before getting banned.
That's it. That's the video. No misinformation. No content. No...profanity, nudity, violence, or political content. Not even something scary like an episode of Oprah. Just...the pale blue dot.

Listening to #Malone on @joerogan's podcast, and Malone is doing a careful and excellent job of fileting the narrative, and some of the people behind it. This is a New Year's gift for those seeking relief from the constant harassment of authoritarian powers.
Until a couple of weeks ago, I had never spoken directly Dr. George Fareed (@GeorgeFareed2), even though I had worked up the statistics and paper for Dr. Tyson's and Dr. Fareed's patients at All Valley Urgent Care in SoCal.
When you talk to George (I'll call him that), you realize how gentle and sincere the man is. There is no mistaking it. And while working on the new Tyson/Fareed book, I got to see George's collection of video testimonials. It's...incredible.
In the Prussian educational paradigm that now dominates the modern world, children are trained not by their families, while interacting with and growing trusting bonds with their neighbors. The process of tribal formation is replaced with a handful of authorities,...
same age social relationships, and parasocial proxy relationships—the people on our magic electronic picture boxes. And in the end, young adults pop out of the other side of this machine suffering a pernicious form of Stockholm Syndrome.
Dear @fold_app, your product is awesome, and I use it a lot, but @Fandango and @Spotify make it very difficult to use their gift cards, and I only want the feeling of irritation to be associated with the correct source.
After I was encouraged to transition my Fandango account, my gift card codes no longer worked. Am I just out that money? Spotify won't let me apply my gift cards because I already have premium service. Do I cancel that service? Will that affect a decade of playlist storage?!
The time and irritation level has already exceeded the value of the gift cards, which isn't a good customer service experience. I would recommend to FOLD to have a standard set for gift card application to prevent people from needing to jump through unknown hoops.
