The first time I tried laying out these pie charts, I had 6 of them, but it was just way too much detail, so I cut 3 of them.

For those intrepid souls undaunted by the prospect of 6 very busy pie charts on one slide, here they are:
$TSLA was the #1 brand by unit volume in the UK in December 2021 (after not even ranking among the top 18 brands in December 2019).

$F fell from #1 in December 2019 to #10 in December 2021. #DemandCliff
Erratum:
The correct source domain for all pie charts shown above is: newautomotive.org
(not dot com)

It’s always a lot of fun to talk my latest Tesla forecast with @heydave7 ! Especially on days when Tesla reports all-time record production and delivery numbers that bode well for the upcoming $TSLA earnings. Thanks, Dave!
We’ll, here’s a $TSLA chart you don’t see every day: 🤣 Image
Also: I wanted to mention that Tesla delivered more in Q4 than they produced (again), somehow. I believe this is because Tesla logistics has gotten so much better that Tesla can now manage an ending finished goods inventory balance of only 4-5 days’ sales…

Here is my latest Tesla forecast thread. The trend is up. 😎

I'm tweeting this sooner after the deliveries release than I normally would so that @heydave7 and I can talk about it when we record a podcast tonight, so please forgive any typos, formatting problems, etc. 🙏

This chart shows Tesla's actual revenue for every quarter (except for Q4 2021, which is my forecast, since it won't be reported for another ~3 weeks).

That's exponential growth, y'all.

Here are the deliveries I'm forecasting by site, by model, by quarter.

You can tell what site produces each model by color:
California = red
China = green
Texas = gray
Germany = blue

Strange how upset Elizabeth Warren got when— rather than “freeloading” (by just quietly accepting her public insults)— @elonmusk gave them right back to her.

Almost as though she didn’t want anyone accusing her of being… Image
For those unfamiliar with what’s happening:
And Elon’s replies referenced in the ads, from 3 days ago:

@elonmusk is expected to join (live in a few minutes) the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine to answer questions from the Space Studies Board and Board on Physics and Astronomy (SpaceX stuff).

The chat moderator provided the following link to submit questions from the public that Elon may be asked at the end, time permitting.

Here's my latest Tesla forecast. Several of you, after reading one of my 69-tweet threads, requested a "420" thread, so here it is:

🍀 The first tweet has 4 green charts
2⃣0⃣ tweets in total

The last 4 of 20 tweets contain previously unreleased detail on 2022-2023.

This chart shows Tesla's actual revenue by quarter.

Please note that Q4 2021 has not happened yet. 👀

Here are the deliveries I'm forecasting for Tesla by site, by model, by quarter.

Rather than assuming GF4 will never build Model 3, I have just pushed it out 2 more years, which means I actually have an unannounced European model starting production before Model 3 now.

I dedicate this tweet to the Tesla haters who-- when confronted with the fact that U.S. legacy sales are in steady decline-- reply, "Sure, but you just don't get it, dummy: *their strategy* is to sell less vehicles!"

GM total revenue and EV market share have both fallen to their lowest level in 5 years:
And Cruise is losing more money than ever and borrowing billions from GM Financial to purchase autonomous vehicles GM manufactures. 👀
