I stood against Geoffrey Clifton-Brown, big Brexit backer, in GE19 in #cotswolds which voted remain.

In GE19 Cirencester hustings, we were asked about the impact of #Brexit on farming in the Cotswolds.

My response briefly captured exactly what is now unfolding - apart from I didn’t foresee the labour shortages.

Sir Geoffrey pledges the same funding for five years - subsidies are now being cut less than 2 years later.

He claims there will be huge opportunities for farming out of the EU.

Now of course he’s changed his mind!
