Till 2011 from our own resources, we met our demand of 1,172 metric tonne bamboo per day, we were largest producer of #Agarbatti till 2008 producing 208 billion sticks/yr worth over 4,163 crores!
Faux narratives of bamboo as
‘ill-fated,toxic,used in last rites etc
hit us hard!

to making sticks charcoal,jiggat powdering
to making #Agarbatti ,sorting packaging & marketing
direct employment is created
Bamboo shoots are edible,used for fodder,construction,furniture, mats,baskets

Once kachchi-ghani sarson oil & ghee were attacked as bad-cholesterol carriers to sell their olive oil!
Eucalyptus was planted all over the country which swallowed salinity of our soil!
Import of plastic #Tiranga Khadi #Tricolor was hit!
Our industries are hit,people go jobless!

@narendramodi put restrictions on imports of #Agarbatti in mid 2019
which has revived many Indian units.

Its our #Agarwood tree- sold across the world as oudh!
The most valued woods in the world, our Agar wood trees’ve been put to near extinction by poachers who sell it for its perfumed resin at $1,00,000 + !

₹ 73-75 lakh/ kg for #Agarwood - meaning invaders, looters are till date looting us of our resources & ancient Hindu wisdom to earn billions; & we like fools fall for anti #Agarbatti campaign ?!
