The men vs women binary is an import from the West.

Dharmic/indigenous societies are built on harmony. Abrahamism on binaries of God-Satan, believer-disbeliever. This divides into binaries, right vs left, men vs women and so on.

The aim is Armageddon—total conflict.

The institutions of "independent" India are built on this binary. Thus the State, judiciary, academia, spiral us into conflict.

The colonial state assumes its job is to "fix society." Rather the state is broken and needs fixing.

These trends are ultimately self-destructive. The destruction of marriage pushed by forms of "liberal feminist" discourse is ultimately anti-women.

Uncommitted men, spiralling divorce rate, single mothers having to raise children alone, are a result.

Marriage is an institution evolved by human societies so that the new generation would be raised and supported and men and women would be co-partners; moving beyond biology.

Patriarchy comes from male-god Abrahamism with its subservient position of women.

Oh guys love this modernity. No marriage, no responsibility, lots of sex partners, letting women bear the burden of pregnancy and child-raising alone. Down with patriarchy where a father would be share the work. Are women happy with that?
