OMG. I am being mansplained right now on the subject of solar energy.

a couple of retired white haired men are explaining to me that the Cal PUC is not following science, BUT THEIR SCIENTIFIC COMMENTS CAN FIX THE PUC DECISION. #SaveSolar

The white haired men did not submit a brief to the PUC pre-December. They did not make public comments in December. They think they can fix the PUC's clusterf*ck with comments after a proposed decision has been issued. #SaveSolar

The white haired men explain that the PUC isn't paying attn to the social cost of carbon, which one opines is the cost of direct air capture. HUH??? #savesolar

The white haired men are offering to mansplain to Gov Newsom through me. I am only a vessel for men to communicate with each other. Thanks men! #savesolar

the white haired men are now suggesting that we join @solar_rights, after I've told them that I'm working closely with @solar_rights, because nothing that women says matters. #savesolar

OMG someone asks a question to RL and the white haired men answer.
Then the questioner says: I was asking RL. And the white haired man responds before I can get a word in edgewise. #savesolar

The white haired man is upset that I have spoken for 8 minutes during this nearly-hour-long meeting. Says "this was my meeting." Mentions that he's a retired engineer. Doesn't understand how to share googledocs.

mansplainin' meeting has ended. And I'm gonna tell you what I told the white haired men: call @GavinNewsom at 916-445-2841 tomorrow AM to speak out against the proposed Solar Penalty Fee! This is out of CPUC hands and on to Newsom's desk. More:

Oh. I forgot the best part. The white haired man made what he thought was a joke: "I don't know how you could be a Democrat with red hair."

I mean, it doesn't even work as a flirt. And it's WILDLY INAPPROPRIATE.
