Kirsten:Even things like universal basic income can be popular if you don't call it that. What if your grandmother's insulin was covered but you don't call it socialized medicine? It's easier to find common ground if we take the politics out of it

Kirsten Heffron: We have room for improvement. There's so much opportunity for people in our country but they may need help to access it. We want to connect real people with real resources to help them improve their lives.

Kirsten Heffron: We're focusing on local activists to be helpful to their campaigns. We're a new PAC, only been around for a year, so the pandemic has slowed down our timeline a little. I think our new project will be helpful in identifying community leaders.

Kirsten Heffron: One of the things we want to do is train local activists in deep canvassing, which is listening & asking questions instead of concentrating on policy. Asking what neighbors think they need, & that helps people feel heard.
