Second, the term 'themselves'. Risk calculation should include not just my risk for severe #COVID outcomes, but also the risk I pose to others while unknowingly carrying the virus. Why? If other's wellbeing as a reason is not compelling enough ('their problem'), then 3/4
think about how leaving more free way for the virus can contribute to infections, some of which may end up in the hospital. Once hospitals are full, 'the ice cream licks back' as the Hungarian saying goes. With no beds for me & loved ones, 'their problem' soon becomes mine. 4/4
