🚨AFCON Fantasy QF #GW5 Thread🧵🚨

Yes we have reached the GF of #TotalEnergiesAFCON2021.

8 teams left. Few surprises have left us /w players from eliminated teams, like Ivory Coast, Nigeria and Mali.

Templates have become stronger. Can we still gain to boost the rank?

Day 1:
1. Gambia 🇬🇲 - 🇨🇲 Cameroon (1-2)
2. Burkina Faso 🇧🇫 - 🇹🇳 Tunisia (0-1)

Day 2:
1. Egypt 🇪🇬 - 🇲🇦 Morocco (1-2)
2. Senegal 🇸🇳 - 🇬🇶 Equatorial Guinea (1-0)

Despite high expectations and good underlying stats, we have seen too many low scoring games that I wouldn't dare to predict high scoring games.

But some things I guess could happen:
These games: 🇬🇲 - 🇨🇲 and 🇪🇬 - 🇲🇦 could be a higher scoring games than : 🇧🇫 - 🇹🇳 and 🇸🇳 - 🇬🇶

🔷Tournament Odds & Favorites

Things've changed a bit since before the tournament and as it stands now Senegal is the biggest favorites according to bookmakers, followed host Cameroon, Morocco and Egypt. And @OptaAnalyst has SEN, EGY, MAR and Tunisia with highest chances.

🔷QF Odds

As predicted, Cameroon & Senegal are huge favorites v respectively Gambia & Eq. Guinea. Tunisia & Morocco slight favorites v Burkina Faso & Egypt.

But, as we've seen so far, surprises can happen.
A good D can get you to shootout & then who knows what can happen.

As you all know for the QF, SF and Final we get 8 free transfers for each round.

You also can have more players from each team now:
- QF : 4
- SF: 8
- Final : 12
