The photography has been played with, loads of contrast and over-sharpening to create visual impact. It's not that these people are extraordinary or are emanating some sort of truth. It's that there is a skilled photographer and digital editor behind the pictures. 2/8
But those of a certain view love it. They are claiming this is great journalism. It isn't. "Accountant quits his job because he has to wear a mask at work because he won't get vaccinated". Sounds like his firm accommodated him, not like he was repressed. 3/8
This is all about keeping people safe. It's a great pity that some are determined to make safety rules into some sort of draconian authoritarianism. I wonder how they feel about seatbelts. 4/8
This article is soft-sell. It is intended to normalize the protestors, to make them palatable. Intended to make you sympathetic. Intended to open the door a crack to the idea that these people might be right. It is propaganda. Pure and simple. 5/8
None of this is about vaccines anyway. But even the protestors don't know that. This "movement" began before anyone ever heard of COVID. And it didn't begin here, not really. The misinformation groundwork was developed and funded elsewhere. 6/8
2019 - United We Roll, was a trial run. Same organizers. Same basic plan. Probably a lot of the same participants from Alberta. It wasn't about carbon tax, either. No more than this is really about vaccines. 7/8
This is all about far-right interests trying to overthrow our duly elected government. We are being overrun with propaganda, even from such major MSM players as PostMedia. Be alert. Think critically. This is insidious. 8/8
