☀️ It's still someone's Daily gm (1/n)

Starting with potentially good macro news, tensions at the Russia-Ukraine border appear to be de-escalating
- Whales and small fish are buying $BTC
- BTC is currently highly correlated with stonks
- The Fed is rising rates to catch up with inflation = markets under pressure
Headline unemployment is low, but total employment remains below pre-pandemic lvls... plenty of jobs, but people aren’t taking them. - @bgilliam1982

Gaming may partially be to blame. Will govts encourage #GameFi so they can tax the hell out of it? Source: Leisure Luxuries and the Labor Supply of Young Men,
House & rent prices continue to climb

Some renters, like myself, can relocate. But I wonder what my friends who bought houses three years ago plan to do 🤔

As a side note, Metaverse secondary land sales continue to rise astronomically.
All the while, the dolla's purchasing power has been slipping away

Better put the Xbox controller down and take that higher-paying job while you can.
$ETH gas prices are down significantly from the previous month, possibly due to NFT marketplaces cooling off. Good time to do some housekeeping.
Binance renamed its blockchain ecosystem to BNB Chain (previously Binance Smart Chain) $BNB has been renamed "Build and Build."

= distancing itself from the blockchain & its token

Is the CEX token experiment not working out, or is this decentralization?
Safe Foundation plans to raise $100M through a private token sale

The raise will not close unless token holders vote to separate @gnosissafe from Gnosis Ltd.

The raise would value the project at $1.25B

☀️Daily gm (1/n)

Now that this #ValentinesDay nonsense is behind us, we can get back to what truly matters.

Tweeting about things that are well beyond our comprehension.

- NFT sales on Ethereum down ~35% WoW
- Markets shaky as US closes Kyiv embassy
- Crypto wins #superbowl
(2/n) What's happening in Canada should absolutely have your attention.

People are saying it's bullish for #crypto

But it's also unsettling, and likely just the beginning.
To what extent will leaders demonize dissent?
(3/n) @LooksRareNFT team is receiving criticism for cashing out in $ETH & using @TornadoCash to anonymize the withdraws.

Most people are simply complaining that the team didn't pump the price enough 🤷

The best rebuttal I've seen is below 👇
