I'm back covering this two-day court hearing in Scotland, which could lead to Donald Trump being subjected to an anti-money laundering "unexplained wealth order."

Today, we heard from the Scottish govt.

The nonprofit @avaaz wants the Scottish govt to use a new anti-money laundering tool to look into the Trump Turnberry golf course.

Scotland's leader, @NicolaSturgeon, has resisted that.

At the hearing this morning so far, both sides have just begun to lay out their positions.
It's a new investigative tool for the UK, so this case asks fundamental questions:

Whose responsibility is it to deploy an "unexplained wealth order?"

And is the Scottish govt under an obligation to use one? Against Trump?

Lord Sandison, the judge, is going to figure that out

Exclusive: The feds just arrested a 30-year-old wealthy Republican operative in Minneapolis. Investigation found that he preyed on young girls.

Indictment claims there were 6 victims.

He sounded beaten down in court. But when I called him last month...

Well, let's see about that.
The FBI raided this guy's condo in Minneapolis back in December. Feds wanted video proof of who he was taking in and out.

When I asked him about that, he told me he'd buy domain names with my name... and post audio of our conversation, which he secretly recorded.

Breaking news: Biden's DOJ will continue to defend Trump in the defamation case that accuses him of raping journalist E. Jean Carroll.

It argues Trump should get immunity... and taxpayers should pick up the tab.

The Justice Department is trying to walk a fine line here. Right up at the top of its filing tonight, it draws this distinction.
But throughout its brief, the DOJ reiterates that Trump was very much doing his job when he essentially called E. Jean Carroll a liar.

We first heard about "Big Joe" in late March, when @ktbenner broke the story on the DOJ investigating Gaetz.

We immediately started reaching out. Surely, Gaetz's wingman's bestie knows something right?
Multiple sources confirmed that yes, "Big Joe" tagged along with Gaetz's buddy for years. They cohosted a radio show, partied together, and even worked together.

We've spoken to maybe a dozen people who knew them personally.

But how far did this go?
