When I joined the fight against gender ideology a couple of years ago, in reaction to my Mother and Sisters being scared of @scotgov proposed gender reforms, I was a bit of a naive idiot.
Well meaning, but largely ignorant of the ongoing struggles of women and their history.

But leaning on my Scientific training, I pushed my ego to the side and saught out knowledge. I read up, asked questions and am grateful to have learned from a huge community of women on here about their lives, challenges, fears, concerns and victories.

I've fought and campaigned all of my adult life for #LGBT rights and realising and learning how a smallish group of TRA had been cuckoos in the nest of not just #LGBTQ campaigning but Women's advocacy groups too has been humbling. Us gays won our fight & fell asleep.

We weren't paying enough attention and we weren't engaged quickly enough to help our Sisters, Mothers and female family and friends. I'm very sorry.
But fuck me, we are aware now and many of us gays stand beside you.

I'll never be a woman, nor do I wish to be anything but me.

But by golly I have more understanding, empathy and the strongest feeling of kinship with Women than I ever have in my life, thanks to some terrific Women who have helped me grow and understand better. I'm very grateful to all of you.

And I have the added motivation of my three Beautiful nieces, daughters of my two sisters. I want the best life, the best opportunities, the kindest and fairest society for them and all Women and girls ... and we will get there.

Today's victory by @ForwomenScot has struck me to my core, envigorated and delighted me ... And I'm so proud of this Womens' triumph.

I'm in awe of Womens' strength and determination.

We. Will. Win.

Just wanted to add, it's made me a better Son, Brother, Uncle and friend to have a better understanding of the challenges and joy of being a Woman and that kinship is something I'm v grateful for.

Onwards and upwards, folks 😁
