Wings now has a monthly readership well above 1/4 mil. people and is part of the Scottish public consciousness.
For this he draws only the equivalent of minimum wage, the bulk of fundraising activities go on publications, research and site running costs.

People's first objection is he can be rude. Yes, if he's pushed he pushes back. That's his style and his choice.

People's second objection is often that he's bigoted and/or homophobic.
That's actually a pretty serious slur. He was cleared in court against Kezia Dugdale of being homophobic.

The most recent accusation is that he's trying to form a party for his own gains.
Many people have had the thought of a second, list only party, most recently @LesleyRiddoch so, please go and criticise her as well, or you are being a hypocrite.

I also need to point out that the premise of a Wings (or Yes, or tbc) party was also my idea and I spent two weeks doing the data modelling and then wrote the article detailing this on Wings, not Stu, so your criticism should be directed at me.
So final two points.
Firstly, Stu and the Wings site have always exposed skullduggery, hypocrisy and bad practise from everyone on all sides of politics. The Pro Indy RISE group got it in the neck, as have the Greens.

Secondly, consider the sum of your efforts and actions on furthering the Indy cause. How much have YOU personally shifted the needle Vs what Stu and Wings have done?
If you help foment and support criticism of Wings are you going to step up and provide equal force?

If you believe the SNP are beyond criticism, you are giving blind allegiance which is very dangerous.
If you help pull Wings down you are fundamentally damaging the Indy movement.
