There is a whole lot of faux outrage over @WingsScotland. Let’s summarise a few facts.

- professional journalist, decades of experience
- never been in @thesnp
- confirmed as not homophobic by Scots judge
- LibDem voter (he’s in England remember)

- Bigger readership in Scotland than most newspaper (bar Daily Record)
-annual fundraiser for campaigning and site costs while Editor draws only minimum wage
- has wide range of guest posters
- viciously analytical about political lies and does the job our media don’t

- commissions regular opinion polls on a wide range of topics
-hated by print media as he’s replacing them and they’re all owned by Unionist interests or Pro Labour ones
- has never had an article, stats or piece of analysis refuted as wrong
- is lovely in person

He doesn’t suffer fools gladly, but given how he’s the target for abuse and criticism, neither would I.

Most people telling you not to read him, have an I agenda I believe. All of Scottish Labour hate him, obviously.
Bella Caledonia hate him as he is more successful

Many left of centre social media folks, like Angela Haggerdy and Cat Boyd hate him as he regularly points out their bias and hypocrisy.

Those people telling you not to read him are wrong. Read and be enlightened.
