CHP Controller Dr Edwin Tsui: Need to see how many cases in the next week or two before deciding on social distancing measures. At the very least they will remain the same.
Q: How many serious cases (asking again)
Dr Sara Ho: Dozens.
Q: How many preliminary positive cases so far today?
Dr Chuang: We're not giving you that information any more.
Dr Tsui: Due to the large number of cases, we're implementing a sms electronic record system. You'll receive a sms from the CHP with an electronic form to fill in.
Dr Ho: Age range of deaths 70-98 years old, 7 male and 7 female.
The age range of critical and serious is mostly elderly.
Q: Do you think the daily figures reflect the true number of cases in community?
Dr Tsui: Yes, because Hong Kongers are concerned about the virus and eager to get tested.
Dr Tsui: We're not hiding the prelim numbers from you. We're just that backlogged it doesn't show you the trend. We want to show you the trend. We're not trying to withhold any information, we just want to give you information that is useful.
