I get asked this question a ton:

"I want to learn @bubble. Where do I start?"

I always suggest starting with as much free content as possible, because there's so much out there.

So here are 10 FREE resources you can use to get started: #buildwithbubble #nocode
1. Bubble's YouTube channel (@bubble)

If it's your very first time opening Bubble, you should start here. What better way to learn about how a platform works than from the folks who built it
2. Coaching No-Code Apps (@CoachingNoCode)

youtube.com/channel/UCTL_m…

This channel helped me solve a lot of issues in Bubble, and I suspect it helped a ton of other builders given how popular it is. They have a mix of short and long-form content for a variety of features

Happy Monday Twitter fam!

A lot of folks have made a new year's resolution to get started on #nocode and learning @bubble

To help you hit the ground running, here's a crash course of the different layout types in the new responsive engine (with examples at the end!) A thread 🧵 Image
Last year, Bubble introduced 4 new layout options: Rows, Columns, Align to Parent and Fixed.

These are part of what's known as flexbox - a layout method that gives you a lot of flexibility in structuring web pages and organizing elements.
These options make designing in Bubble much simpler, but they may be hard to grasp at first.

It's first important to understand that these options define how content *inside* a container is organized.

Here's how each of them work:

I started reading 'The psychology of Money' last night.

I loved it for its practicality, its brevity, and the examples shared of the good and bad ways people have treated money.

Finished it all in one sitting.

Some takeaways:
'One of the most powerful ways to increase your savings isn't to raise your income. It's to raise your humility'

Basically, avoid airs and graces, or inclinations to flaunt money.

'The world is filled with people who look modest but are actually wealthy'
'When people say they want to be a millionaire, what they might actually mean is "I'd like to spend a million dollars." And that is literally the opposite of being a millionaire.'

Wealth is more about what you don't spend than what you do.

Hey no-coders,

Here's the thread on how I made my custom icons work in Bubble.

I will note, this process would be easier to do with a plugin, but since I don't know how to build plugins in Bubble (yet) I've figured out a way to do it without a plugin.

Preface: As with all my other 'how-to' threads, this will be posted here:

Pro-tip: If you sign up with your email, I can send these to you directly to your inbox and you'll never miss one :).

Will start sending via email when I reach 10 subs.
1/ Bubble has a set of icons that are native to the platform, and you're more than welcome to use those.

If you do so, this process will be much more straightforward.

However, not all the icons there are great for my use case or my aesthetic, so I uploaded my own.
