Interim Conservative Leader Candice Bergen has dropped Eric Duncan, the party's first openly gay MP, from the senior caucus leadership team, and has not given him a shadow cabinet post.

Duncan declined comment on Tuesday and pointed the Globe to his Twitter statement where he announced that in response to his exit he is also resigning from the party's leadership election organizing committee.
