BREAKING: Delhi High Court hearing application by Indian Historian @vikramsampath, being argued by his lawyer @raghav355 seeking take down of fresh tweets by @AudreyTruschke, others, even after an injunction order was passed earlier.

Advocate @raghav355 says the new tweets against Vikram Sampath directly attack authority of the court.

Court says "We cannot have 1000's of defendants, please stick to the defendants already imploded"

@raghav355: I'm referring to that only. They are all those against whom an order has been passed.

"Janaki Bakhale has written to the Wire and has alleged several acts of plagiarism towards Vikram Sampath," he adds

Raja is reading out the article in which Janaki Bakhale has made statements to the Wire allegedly accusing Sampath for plagiarism.

Awasthi: The letter I am talking about is of India Foundation Journal - which says there are allegations against Vikram Sampath on the basis of a speech in which he presented his views.

Advocate Raja: The speech he is claiming to present is actually a paper which was presented at the speech. Not a "speech", it was a paper.

Court: Let Janaki Bakhle have her own remedies if that is your claim.

Advocate Raja: When it comes to defamation, the court cannot grant an injunction, Vikram Sampath got it on the assumption that Janaki Bakhale has no issues. But she now objects, this must be fed to court.

BREAKING: "I hold the view that the said documents which advocate @raghav355 for @vikramsampath has brought on record be allowed to be placed on record as the suit is oi early stages," says Delhi High Court.

Advocate Raja objects strongly. "Why shouldn't we subject him to scrutiny? We shouldn't we discuss that he (Vikram Sampath) is a plagiarist?" (He reads judgments to defend his case)

Senior Advocate @poovayya says that Twitter will not stand in the way of any order.

Court: Letter dated 15.2.2022 to RHS has been published on Twitter handle of @AudreyTruschke. Plaintiff has already provided URLs. Directed that Truschke & ors. restrained from posting the letter & email or any other defamatory content concerning @vikramsampath.
