Let's be real: if WWX knocked LWJ up during the Sunshot arc, LQR would have flipped out. We know this.

But I also think he would've gone from 'WWX is a horrible soulless demon!!' to 'WWX is not COMPLETELY irredeemable, actually' in like 0.2 seconds.

LQR is outside the birthing chamber while LWJ delivers his baby.

LQR is FUMING. He is thinking up all kind of increasingly horrific punishments to inflict on WWX.

Then LXC comes out with the little bundle and puts it into LQR's arms.

LQR accepts, thinking to himself, 'WWX should be cut into a thousand pieces! He should be drawn and quartered!!'

Then he looks down.

Baby: *coos softly*

Baby: *scrunches its liddol nose*

Baby: *has round, fat cheekies*

Thinkin' of baby Foxxian sprouting a new tail. It's his second one, and he's so proud of it!

He grooms it every hour, on the hour, to keep it sleek and shiny!

He runs around, shaking his little rump so everyone will notice his new tail!

...And he waves it in baby Dragonji's face so many times, Dragonji simply has no choice but to chomp. 😔

Shufu says this is bad. 😔 Shufu says that even when guests behave in an insolent and improper fashion, we must not bite their tails. 😔 Shufu says that Dragonji must have a Time Out to meditate on why tail-chomping is unacceptable. 😔

Dragonji thinks this is quite unfair.

I think it would be funny if LWJ and WWX work in the same office, but different departments. Their paths don't cross all that often, but it doesn't stop WWX from developing a BIG crush on LWJ.

...Alas. It seems he is too late. 🥲

LWJ is notoriously aloof and standoffish! He despises small talk!

But it takes remarkably little provocation to make him talk about his 'A-Yuan'.

A-Yuan is so clever. A-Yuan is so kind. A-Yuan is so generous.

A-Yuan gave him the most beautiful flowers for their anniversary!

(The anniversary of when LWJ adopted him!

A-Yuan raided LXC's garden for those flowers. NMJ helped him pick them.

Because A-Yuan isn't allowed to use scissors yet.

Because he's four years old.

WWX does not know this, and it genuinely doesn't occur to LWJ to mention it.)

I enjoy thinking about how LWJ and WWX both have the same love language (acts of service) and how hilarious it must be when they're both trying to do an act of service for each other at the same time.

LWJ and WWX spend the night together for the first time, at LWJ's house!

The next morning, WWX shovels the snow off LWJ's driveway while LWJ cooks WWX a seven-course breakfast.

Then they go out for coffee, and have their very first fight as a couple: who gets to hold open the cafe door for whom, and who gets to pick up the check??

They have to compromise: LWJ gets to pay for the coffee, but that means WWX gets to hold open the door to the cafe.

Thinking of baby Foxxian, who finds an injured baby Dragonji. Foxxian scoops up the tiny noodle and takes it back to his den to look after it!

He's getting to be a big strong fox, and he's VERY proud of his hunting skills! He tries to show off for his new noodle friend!

But it's hit-or-miss.

Dragonji likes the fruit, nuts, and roots that Foxxian scavenges!

But when Foxxian proudly brings a big fat mouse back to the den, Dragonji just goes 😖

Foxxian has to eat the mouse all by himself. Then he has to wash himself off THOROUGHLY before he's allowed to snuggle with his noodle friend. 🥺

And when Foxxian spots a rabbit and drops into his Hunting Pose (head down, butt wiggling, ready to pounce!), Dragonji SCREAMS.

I think it would be cute if LWJ and WWX had an ~arranged marriage~ in place before they even met at the CR lectures.

Because I can see WWX pushing back against this, and almost-but-not-quite behaving like JZX!

...Not quite, though. Because unlike JZX, WWX has a jie.

I can see WWX simultaneously crushing on LWJ and feeling resentful that his future has already been decided for him, and coping with these conflicting feelings by bullying LWJ.

Mostly affectionate bullying! But sometimes he bullies Too Hard, and JYL looks at him like 😠

WWX promptly wilts like a delicate springtime flower! He stammers out an apology and flees with his tail between his legs!

Then he goes and buys LWJ a present in Caiyi Town. He gives it to LWJ, and then turns to JYL like, "🥺 Look. I said sorry. 🥺 I made it up to him. 🥺"
