❗️Attention. Graphic visuals. My friend, a journalist from #Kyiv, #Ukraine just sent me a video of the aftermath of the today's Russian airstrike at the broadcast tower in Syrets district of the capital. Read the thread below with my translation.⬇️
[1] The Ukrainian man speaking on the background: “One clear hit in the tower up there. See the destruction? That building has been slightly burned." The windows blew up on the first floor, but af the guard told me – no casualties there."
[2] "Over there is one more rocket hit the ground, exploded and generated the major blast wave. Here are four corps. It seems it’s a family which walked together because their corps are here also together."
[3] "Behind this, there’s a burning building of the skating sport arena, former gym Avangard. Here is a sedan standing which was impacted with shrapnel. Most likely, more casualties are there too."
[4] "Here is one more car standing on the road, white SUV. It has the hole from shrapnel on the driver’s door. Most likely we have one more wounded or died there. Here is one more body - it's a man. He was struck with shrapnel and thrown away by the blast wave.”
