Some of us on here don't realize that the world is already at war - it’s an information war- and Russia has been attacking for 10+ years.

We can’t be “right fighters”, we have to fight back against disinformation- that means sharing war content that makes us all uncomfortable.
It is not “exploitive” to share content of what is happening in Ukraine and the very real human toll it is taking on their men, women, and children- they are victims who will not have a voice if their stories aren’t shared.

We have to amplify Putin’s atrocities in real-time.
Putin wants to destabilize NATO and the west- so why send out messages saying “NATO hung Ukraine out to dry”?

Do we understand that World War 3 starts if the United States or our allies go in- against a mentally deranged tyrant with nukes?

Everyone hates this. Everyone.
All that Biden and our allies can do right now is crush Russia with sanctions and send weapons, equipment, and supplies to Ukraine so they can fight back.

Economics is one big factor in why the USSR collapsed in 1991- and sanctions are causing Putin to lose control today.
When we share content of Russian soldiers captured or surrendering- it’s being seen by their families who Putin hasn’t even told were in Ukraine dying.

This content is critical, we have to share it to destabilize this invasion and help save Ukrainian and even Russian lives.
When we share videos of children hiding in subways from bombs- nobody is excited to do it.

Everyone is just as horrified as you- but if we don’t share it, then the world will not see what is happening and act as quickly as the EU, UN, or NATO has done.
Because of the world’s outrage, Switzerland and Sweden ended their 80 year neutrality to help Ukraine.

The UN, EU, and NATO are stronger than ever because President Biden has worked tirelessly alongside other world leaders to strengthen our alliances before Putin invaded.
Instead of complaining for the sake of it or demanding not to share content that is upsetting, or to pixelate photos (Russia will say it’s fake)- please for the sake of God, understand that this isn’t politics or politeness anymore- it’s a literal war of information.
If we want to win this war without a nuclear holocaust, we have to keep doing exactly what we’re doing and what the President is leading on.

We MUST stop nitpicking and complaining and start acting and working together- all of us- this isn’t partisan. It’s America vs Tyranny.
I have had people with deplorable in their handles dm’ing asking to help, over 15 different nations members of parliament have shared our content

This crisis is causing Americans to stop and take note of the fragility of democracy and coming together- and that’s what it takes.
Many Republicans are waking up on Russia and want to help. The worst thing to say to someone who is changing is telling them they’ve been wrong and are idiots.

Everyone in Ukraine regardless of politics is working together. We must do the same- globally.
What Russia is doing to Ukraine has changed everything, it’s changed all of us, and it’s changed the very trajectory of where the world was heading just one week ago.

If we don’t define what is happening right now- Ukraine won’t be the last nation invaded, they’ll be the first.
Together we can fight disinformation on social media. If you want to join the thousands who have volunteered in the last week, the sign up is below.

Our social media impact since August 2019: 51,343,790,000 Social media impressions.

Putin sends spoiled rations to his troops 7 years past the expiration while Zelensky is personally on the frontlines and pays his soldiers much more than Russia does.

If you’re dying for Putin, you should consider fighting for Zelenski who will pay you.
Ukraine is even paying 5 million rubles to voluntarily surrender.

“We offer Russian soldiers a choice: to die in an unjust war, or full amnesty and 5 million rubles of compensation if they put down their guns and voluntarily surrender to prison,”

You don’t have diesel, you’re underpaid, fed rotting food, don’t know where you’re going, and other Russian troops are walking away.

- And all this is for Putin, a man who won’t send your body home or even call your mom to tell her you’ve died.

On the battlefield, Russia is suffering heavier losses in personnel and armor and aircraft than expected.

Ukrainian air defenses, including aircraft, continue to be operable to engage and deny access to Russian aircraft in places over #Ukraine.

Without uncontested control of the skies, it becomes more difficult for an army on the move to see and strike targets from the air.

Together, these challenges have so far prevented the quick overthrow of major Ukrainian cities, including the capital, Kyiv.
Russia has spun their slow advance in Ukraine as a stop to allow time for negotiations, not a military setback.

"They are having problems. They lack diesel, they are proceeding way too slow and morale is obviously an issue."

At some point Congress will vote to decide if America will continue to be a democracy.

Of course, I’m talking about voting rights.

A lot of polarization is swirling around the Freedom to Vote Act and the facts of this bill aren’t the easiest to understand.

Obviously because the main co-sponsor is Sen Manchin, there will be a lot of negativity on this thread about BBB and filibuster rules.

But, for you to truly support it, we need to get the message out about how it matters.

This is the most important legislation of our lifetime.
First off, this bill will enact an automatic voter registration system through your DMV and ensure all voters have access to online voter registration.

This streamline allows the DMV to collect information and to electronically transfer it to the voter database.

The level of negativity I am seeing and hearing from democrats on here is unnerving, but I get it- @POTUS’s message isn’t getting out.

Because I respect Carville so much I’ll start with the economy.

It’s the strongest of any 1st term president in 50 years.

Corporate America is exploding because Biden’s Covid-19 vaccination and American Rescue Plans reduced the jobless rate to 4.2% in November from 6.2% in February.

Also, the GDP growth in every incoming administration during the past four decades never exceeded 2.74% until 2021.
I’m going to talk about the American rescue plan a few times because of how much it saved us.

Through the American Rescue Plan, Biden threw $66 billion into 36 million households- think that helped the economy and children eat?

I’ve been lucky enough to have met or worked with a lot of folks- Besides Sen. Jones (I’m biased)- @JoeBiden has been the most decent man that I have met.

I had the chance to spend part of a campaign day in 2017 with him and it changed how I view a lot of things-

Thread: 1/12
I was able to be with him and listen to him privately speaking to others behind closed doors- I expected him to talk electoral math of the race, how to win certain voters, and all the things we all usually talk about when we are campaigning. He didn’t.

2/12
He talked about decency. He told stories about his dad, his mother, people he met in his travels that shaped him.

He didn’t talk about prime ministers and leaders he knew- he talked about us. How our stories told him the right way. And he listened.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but being an asshole and being tough aren’t the same thing.

Empathy, humility, and sometimes even forgiveness for those who ask for it take a lot more mental toughness than joining abusers in their behavior.

That’s also what Biden stands for.
In the coming days I think I may share my own mental health stories of hurt, abuse, and heartbreak.

For all of us, this year has been devastating. For me, I lost almost everything I loved or cared about.

In almost all the case it was because I said- enough.
It is absolutely the right thing to not allow abuse. It’s the right thing to say “no more”.

But for me, what I have learned is when those who have abused me in my life have been confronted harshly- it hurts me just as bad to hurt them as it does myself to carry it.
