#TheBatman is one of the most talked about and overanalyzed heros in American pop culture. That's why he's had over a dozen films - But that longevity has been earned by updating the character for each generation. That doesn't happen in #TheBatman

Batman is not a right wing fascist nor is he a liberal fighting against the privileged elite. But in a world where millions protested police brutality and racism a rich white guy who beats up random mostly brown folks needs to address that

While writing this #TheBatman review I was watching Batman : Long Halloween on @hbomax and was shocked by this scene. This was produced a full YEAR after #GeorgeFloyd was murdered by a cop pressing his neck for 9 minutes. Who thought this was okay ? Or maybe that was the point 😒
