1] Evidently, the Harare regime, which had not budgeted for the Yellow revolution that has taken over the country, is now going out of its way, trying to contain @nelsonchamisa
Just like the MDC-A party before it, @CCCZimbabwe has effectively been outlawed by the junta regime
2] @CCCZimbabwe held its inaugural #YellowSaturday rally at Zim grounds Harare, under stringent measures, albeit successfully.
Since then, it has been total chaos.
The Gokwe rally was cancelled while citizens were butchered in Kwekwe.
Other rallies were systematically thwarted
3] This weekend and the ensuing few days, @CCCZimbabwe had planned four rallies, as follows:
Sat 12 March - Marondera
Sun 13 March- Beitbridge
Mon 14 March- Tsholotsho
Tue 15 March - Binga
As it currently stands, all four rallies have been banned by the junta regime.
4] Any self-respecting individual would be embarrassed to write the police letters of disapproval
The police at times will claim being understaffed, yet show up with tanks, to thwart the same gathering
The Binga rally was banned because ED will be in the same town, 2 days later
5] It can't go unnoticed, that the #YellowSkies rally went extremely well, without police presence
In hindsight, the Kwekwe violence was perhaps a deliberate strategy to justify future disapprovals, by generating a narrative that rallies can't proceed without police presence.
6] Yet the very same narrative being pushed by the Harare regime is self exposing.
How do you justify high allocations of resources by Mthuli, to Home Affairs & State Security Ministeries, if the state can't offer security in just 28 towns?
Will be state be ready then in 2023?
7] But ofcourse, we the citizens aren't daft. We see through these theatrics.
There are three main reasons why the State is behaving in such an embarrassing manner.
The first one, as already established, is complete fear of @nelsonchamisa
They want to contain the 🟡 wave.
8] The second issue is that ZanuPF wants to disrupt @nelsonchamisa by-elections campaign
Remember that the by-elections are now just 10 days away & NC is yet to address rallies in Mat North, Manicaland & Masvingo
The intention is ensuring @CCCZimbabwe doesn't conver much ground
9] Lastly, ZanuPF is deliberately trying to sustain certain narratives, to arrive at a particular destination
For Chamisa, the narrative should be that CCC has no ground presence
For ZanuPF, their bussed supporters should show massive support for ED.
...then comes in Mwonzora
10] ZanuPF is equally desperate to prop up Dougie, particularly this Sunday, where they ordered him to redo his flopped Zororo rally
To expose the charade, @OurMDCT has been provided bussies to ferry people from all over, & will be having a "car rally" in Harare this afternoon.
11] Whereas Mwonzora himself has been wearing a brave face, trying to explain away his poorly attended gatherings, they need him to appear popular, esp with the by-elections now looming
ZanuPF knows reality will need to match these theatre optics & only rigging can achieve this
12] Citizens can't afford to be disillusioned by ZanuPF's acts of desperation
If the regime is hellbent on ensuring rallies aren't held, beyond legal challenges to the same, citizens should still respond politically, by self-mobilising in our communities to vote decisively.
13] An at institutional level, @CCCZimbabwe leadership has the mandate & task of exploring all available strategies, to respond to these acts of illegality & brazen lawfare.
ZanuPF cannot be allowed to create & sustain apathy amongst the citizens.
Resistance is non negotiable
14] Undeniably, these are trying times.
Yet, the most critical thing to read out of all this is that the Harare regime is panicking.
Pursuant of the ancient wisdom "dzokororo ine simba", Simboti decided to redo his Harare Rally, after the unsurprising, yet embarrassing Zororo ground disaster.
Took time later on, to watch the rally, and a few things are becoming clear.
2] In terms of optics, one wonders why they decided to redo the rally
Evidently, Zororo Rally (1st pic) had predominantly Hararians, while for Zimbabwe Grounds rally (2nd pic), they mobilised from far & wide
If the end was supposed to justify the means, this was a disasterclass
3] Secondly, there is leadership deficiency in MDC
It doesn't help matters that the leader himself is incoherent.
He stammers & easily confuses himself
There isn't a single orator in MDC-T, who can "work a crowd"
I've attended funerals more enjoyable than the MDC-T gatherings
Thank you Beitbridge citizens for braving the threats I'm told you were receiving from the state from yesterday. That's vintage ZanuPF. Violence shows a behaviour of people who know they are on their way out
We are winning in 2023 because we are # 1. After 2023, we will restore Zimbabwe to be #1. We will be #1 in sports; functional economy; national wealth.
When we lift the finger ☝ it symbolises that we are #1 and we are going to win in 2023 because of that.
•dilapidated medical facilities

•pensioners including warvets struggling

•high youth unemployment

True to its identity of being a judicial reconstruct, @OurMDCT through Mwonzora's legendary tactic of using proxies (something he employed against Tsvangirai himself), is now attempting to stop the March 202 by-elections, he caused
2] Great political minds, such as Dr Magaisa, countless times, warned Mwonzora against overplaying the court card, as 'politics is about the voter'!
Whereas admittedly, this isn't rocket science, it would seem like everyone else except Mwonzora, understood this warning.
3] Before looking into the merits of what the DM proxy is asking from the courts...here's some context.
Mwonzora has been a useful ploy, in ED's desperation to destroy @nelsonchamisa
In 2020, the courts upheld a dubious judgement which deligitimised Nero's succession of MRT
