🚨Russian airstrikes may have struck an area some 10 miles from Polish border, west of Lviv.
If Russia struck Yavoriv, then Putin really wants to start WW3. Because it's not only right on the Polish border. It's where "NATO allies and partners, mentor and advise Armed Forces of Ukraine Observer Controller / Trainers at the Combat Training Center located near Yavoriv."

#Russia’s begun its reign of terror on #Ukraine’s #democracy—abducting activists, leaders & journalists. Putin aims not only to kill a free Ukraine. He aims to strangle🇺🇦 as a place where Russians & Ukrainians unite to work for democracy, exposing 🇷🇺lies, aggression & corruption.
If you think Putin will stop in Ukraine, look at his targets & kill lists. Russia's genocidal war is to kill off democracy by terrorizing journalists, rights & anti-corruption activists exposing propaganda & kleptocracy. He can't rest with such freedom & democracy in the Baltics.
It's important to see the big picture in this horror. Putin's genocide is vengeful & self-preservation. Ukraine became a haven & refuge for Russian dissidents working for democracy. Potent independent Russian journalistic outlets fled Russia to nearby Russian-speaking countries.

🔥Irpin PhotoJournalist: Russian artillery men who fired from other side of the river definitely saw 100s of civilians evacuating. They killed a displaced family from Donetsk living in Irpin. The dead: Tatyana 43yo mom, Nikita 18yo boy, Alisa 9yo girl, Anatoly, 28yo from Luhansk.
@DubchakA @AC360 Andriy Dubchak's video @nytimes captured the depravity of Russia firing on civilians evacuating from an area already bombarded by them. Russians were targeting people—mostly elderly, families w/ cats, dogs—trying to cross Irpin bridge to escape. "100% war crime," he tells Cooper.
Here’s the @nytimes story with Dubchak’s video, capturing the mortar strike on fleeing civilians north of Kyiv in Irpin that killed an IDP (internally displaced) refugee family from Russia’s 8-yr war in Donetsk. Layers upon layers of horror seems to define this war.
