to a fabricated criminal case. Recently, a politically motivated trial has extended his term in detention for 2 more months.
His family members were not informed about Yernar's whereabouts and health condition for 20 days after he was detained.

After a long search his family finally found him in the pre-trial detention facility in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk.

My son was arbitrarily detained on his way to work on 6 January, 2022 in connection with January events. He participated in a peaceful protest where he spoke out about our country's problems and price hikes. This resulted in him being arrested.
