1/ NFT discussion series by @paji_a #12: "What is a DAO? - The NFTJPN Journey Part 2" #NFT #NFTcommunity #anime #japan #pajiEnglish #NFTJPN
2/ Today, I will continue to discuss the subject - "What is a DAO?" in regards to making NFTJPN a DAO. Open source projects that have been created around the world via the Internet were initially touted as
3/ a revolutionary organizational structure, but in fact, more than 80% of them have not been able to continue for more than one year after they were created. This is a clear indication of the limitations of the "volunteer" approach.
4/ I cannot promise that I will continue to operate NFTJPN if I have to bear the current burden and responsibility for another six months or more.
5/ I believe the same is true for the core members who support the current operation (I have actually received comments from some of them in this regard).
6/ That is why we believe that evolving NFTJPN into a DAO that also incorporates incentives beyond that of a company for the management of the organization,
7/ rather than remaining a volunteer activity as is common in online communities, is necessary for NFTJPN to continue to operate on a larger scale with a longer lasting and more successful vision.
8/ If NFTJPN is such an essential part of the Japanese NFT industry that people involved in NFT feel sympathy and support for it as a bridge to the rest of the world and would not want it to go away,
9/ then the DAO format is a great match and the possibility of its becoming a DAO is high. It is a great innovation from a service that traditionally should have been utilized by the "company" type.
10/ As a fact of modern capitalist society, of all business and service organization types, the "Corporation" continues to prove to be the one that delivers the very best results.
11/ This is because it is able to unify the awareness and actions of those who work on it by tying the "money" necessary to lead an affluent life to the concepts of stocks and compensation for labor.
12/ There are various types of companies, such as incorporated associations and limited liability companies, depending on their purpose, but when considering the linkage with the financial market,
13/ which is also closely related to DAOs, it is easier to compare DAOs with companies, which continue to dominate the world, when evaluating them as an organization.
14/ Of course, there are certainly areas of some businesses and services that work better with non-profit organizations that are not companies, but the fact that people today are able to live greater than medieval kings,
15/ with delicious meals delivered to their homes and quality movies and entertainment on their smartphones, for example, is all thanks to the well established concept of the "company".
16/ Because of the establishment of the "company" system, smartphones, convenience stores, and home delivery services are created by the people and continue to provide services to society, enriching people's lives without the direct intervention of the state.
17/ When a company provides a service of a certain scale, it is a very useful concept to define how to handle the resources (people, goods, and money) to maintain and develop that service.
18/ It is said that "companies" originated from trading ships during the Age of Discovery. Due to the underdevelopment of navigation technology at that time, ships often did not return safely, for example, by sinking.
19/ If the ship could make a safe port call, it could bring back a large amount of spices and other goods and earn a huge profit, but the risk of the ship not returning was extremely high. The "company" system was created to diversify this risk and invest in future value.
20/ Even in today's society, the future is uncertain, times are changing quickly, and sudden catastrophes or wars can cause a business that was doing well to suddenly take a turn for the worse.
21/ Using the equity structure, you can hedge such risks through the financial function, or you can accelerate growth by converting future earnings into present capital (money) for promising technologies and services.
22/ Why do countries around the world legally guarantee and design the "company" structure through corporate law? It is because it was the most effective organization to maintain society and develop the economy, based on the technology that modern society has.
23/ From a national perspective, the company system is very useful to get the people to work to develop their own country.
24/ In order to meet daily living expenses and tax obligations in society, it is necessary to earn "money" by doing some kind of work.
25/ By paying salaries to those who continue to operate services that are needed in the world, "companies" are able to align their services in the direction of development and enrichment of people's lives. It's a system that makes a lot of sense for the state.
26/ If you look around in the world, you will notice that most businesses and services above a certain size are provided by "companies,"
27/ so adopting a DAO must have advantages over a "company" for the adopting organization. In the next article, we will explain the structure of a company in more depth.

2/ Today, I am going to write "What is a DAO?" in respect to making NFTJPN a DAO. About 6 months have passed since the launch of NFTJPN, and thanks to your generous support,
3/ NFTJPN has been expanding its overseas recognition through daily Twitter space and monthly events in order to achieve our vision of "having overseas collectors purchase Japanese NFT works". We think we are getting there.

1/ NFT discussion series by @paji_a #10: "Should startups tackle NFTs now?" #NFT #NFTcommunity #anime #japan #pajiEnglish
2/ Today I'm going to hit the ground running with "Should startups tackle NFT now?" in the DeFi context. Conclusion: It depends on the goal of the company, just as the i-mode economy has produced many publicly listed companies.
3/ NFT and the DeFi that will bring its true value to the market is still a rough technology. Even though NFT and existing businesses seem to be a good match, it is unlikely that they will reach the general public in 1-2 years from now. Most companies would be safer not to.

2/ Today, I'm going to write about why NFT and fanfics are so compatible. The reason is simple: a character business called PFP has emerged as a powerful way to utilize NFT.
3/ Where there is a character, there is a secondary creation made by a fan, and it goes hand in hand with the activities of fans in the community, which is important for the success of NFT works.

27/ Like Wikipedia, which is edited in an open-source manner, a grand metaverse will begin to expand from the bottom up.
28/ How do you see Loot evolving in the future? There are many possible patterns, but the main one is that derived projects will merge with each other, or new derived projects will be created.

2/ Today, I'm going to write about the "Loot" project, which you should know about if you are into NFT. If you observe any NFT project, you will notice that the "Loot purity" of that project is a scale between 100% and 0%.
3/ It reminds me of the significance of "Loot", which has identified the essential characteristics of NFT.
