2/ If you are familiar with NFT, you may have seen a virtual museum called "OnCyber". A recent addition to the NFT, "OnCyber", it's a development that may be the next generation of the metaverse. Today, we're going to dive deep to discover more about it.
3/ This "feature" is "the ability to purchase NFTs through a browser in a virtual building created with NFTs. It may not sound like much, but let's take a look at each aspect one by one in detail.
4/ First of all, OnCyber was originally just a service that allowed you to display NFT works in a virtual museum.
5/ Museums have several templates, and nowadays, "home-like" buildings can also be sold and installed as NFTs, such as the RTFKT Space Pod, a collaboration with RTFKT, which was acquired by Nike, and is a popular NFT with a tasteful home-like design.
6/ You may have noticed the "parent-child" structure of the NFT building, where NFT works are displayed on top of it.
7/ Just recently, the owners of the RTFKT Space Pod received an airdrop of the RTFKT PodX, a building that can be expanded like Legos. If "RTFKT Space Pod" is one
8/ room, "RTFKT PodX" is another "brother" building that can be expanded by connecting other rooms and buildings. And, of course, NFT works can be exhibited there as well.
9/ This is where the surprise comes in: you can now access the building represented by NFT with a browser and immediately make a payment (purchase) for the "NFT works" lined up inside the building through a wallet such as Metamask.
10/ This will be a groundbreaking case that will change the way online stores work in the future.
11/ OnCyber is not a place to create NFTs, but rather a place where services can interoperate with each other, just as you would do in the real world when you buy something from Amazon and put it in your house.
12/ Both OnCyber and OpenSea allow immediate purchase of "data" without account (ID and password + credit card) registration by connecting with a wallet such as Metamask. Payment is made with crypto-assets.
13/ There is no need for lead time or fees for overseas remittances across countries. The payment is immediate. An economic sphere beyond the convenience of the real world will be established.
14/ As the name suggests, OnCyber is not just a virtual museum, but just as Amazon first chose "books" because of their suitability for shipping and storage, OnCyber has also chosen to build its metaverse in the same way.
15/ OnCyber, when building its metaverse, must have started with a narrower domain because it saw a high demand for a virtual museum to display NFT works.
16/ There are many ways to create a metaverse, but while others focus on "space", "characters", and "land", OnCyber OnCyber focuses on buildings.
17/ Buildings, which are prone to events, are moved by "doors" and developed by combining them like Legos. The "roads" and "vacant lots" that connect the buildings may be effective as visual effects, but they can be changed later.
18/ Seeing NFT as a major focus of art in 2020, OnCyber has started to exhibit and sell "NFT works". In the future, music-related NFTs, game-related NFTs, etc. can also be sold. This also means that we can create a huge mall in the metaverse.
19/ By making these "building" NFTs available for sale to companies and general creators, it will be possible to freely build "objects" in the metaverse.
20/ NFTs can be used to build huge towers and other buildings that could be used for metaverse tourism, such as bridges over streams and road signs, for example.
21/ In this way, companies and creators from all over the world will create NFTs one after another, and combine them like Legos to build their own metaverse.
22/ A social graph will be created to connect the metaverse. In that metaverse, the content that becomes NFTs will have value and an economic zone will be created.
23/ There are two main types of metaverse: the type where the world exists first and you exist in it after it is made, and the second type where you exist and the world is then connected to you.
24/ Typically, I think we are approaching the challenge through the first method, but if you consider that the world you experience is only the world you personally see and hear, it is possible that the metaverse you should produce is through the latter method.
25/ I don't know if OnCyber has thought that far in creating its current form, but as a metaverse where "you exist and the world is connected to you," I can see a glimpse of its future development with its sophisticated user experience.
26/ I'm excited to see how far it can go in delegating creativity to its users.
27/ Like Wikipedia, which is edited in an open-source manner, a grand metaverse will begin to expand from the bottom up.
28/ How do you see Loot evolving in the future? There are many possible patterns, but the main one is that derived projects will merge with each other, or new derived projects will be created.
2/ Today, I'm going to write about the "Loot" project, which you should know about if you are into NFT. If you observe any NFT project, you will notice that the "Loot purity" of that project is a scale between 100% and 0%.
3/ It reminds me of the significance of "Loot", which has identified the essential characteristics of NFT.
2/ This project is a challenge to raise new funds for animation production by using NFT.
3/ For example, the "work data" created during the production process is a coveted item for fans, and with NFT, fans can collect official works for themselves and directly support the funding of the next anime production in a transparent manner.
2/ The animation industry has the potential to take the world by storm from Japan, but with a declining population, the domestic market alone is becoming overly saturated with many forms of entertainment competing against each other, and overseas expansion is a must.
3/ I hope to create a pathway to overseas markets through this animation project. I want to work together with the community to break through.

2/ [Announcement] Today I'm going to write about the CryptoNinja animation project, an example of the evolution of the NFT x animation industry in Japan. We are excited about realizing a new type of animation production through the use of NFT and
3/ community. The PV is produced by Fanworks (the studio responsible for the popular and successful "Sumikko Gurashi" movie, which ranked first at the theatrical box office with over 1 million viewers, as well as being popular on Neftlix).
