It’s time to start a #WWDC Wishlist Mega Thread. Here we go, will keep adding things until the event.
1. iOS 16: Add new languages in Apple Translate. I can hope for Indian languages, especially Hindi, but I think they have a long list before reaching there.
2. Wider rollout for Apple Pay, hopefully we get it in India as well. Indian market is quickly shifting towards Tap to Pay, and the government is encouraging digital payments more than any other country. Apple Pay would be a great addition.
3. Public Transport information for more cities in Apple Maps. Sucks that we don’t have it for Delhi Metro - 9th widest metro system in the world - or for Belgrade trams. Only reason I have to switch to Google Maps, really.
4. I think this is something we all want - Interactive Widgets on home screen. Current implementation is meh at best.
5. Apple Pencil Gen. 3 - works with all models that support Gen 2, has a lower latency than Samsung’s S Pen, AirPods Pro-like control to give multiple options on the pencil, colour options.
6. Better filters while I search reminders on the Apple Reminders app. The tags made it easier, but it can be further improved. #iOS16 #WWDC
7. Filtering of all “hide my email” emails in iCloud in a different inbox in the Mail app. #iCloudPlus #iCloud #WWDC22
8. Make “Settings” and “System Preferences” of different OS more consistent with icons, names, categories, etc. System Preferences on macOS are a mess.
9. An item from my last year’s wish list as well, changed UI for the Calendar app on iOS. Make the information more easy to access, than just bland dots. #WWDC22
10. More features for the iOS keyboard - live translate, search and paste, view clipboard, number row. #iOS16 #WWDC Basically make it a bit more like Android’s GBoard.
11. And I desperately need it — COMBINE CALENDAR AND REMINDERS, the way Google Calendar does. Please, Apple. When I’m looking at my calendar, I need to know what deadlines I’m looking at too.
12. A new design for the Contacts app, where it isn’t just a bland list of names.
13. Magic Eraser kind of thing because 1. I need it, 2. Would be interesting to see how good it is compared to the competition.
14. Merge FindMy into Apple Maps.
15. Clipboard history.
16. Differentiate “Reminders” and “Deadlines” AND PUT THEM IN THE CALENDAR.
17. Allow me to take partial screenshots of iPad’s using Universal Control from MacBook.
18. Allow more macOS shortcuts on iPad, such as command-Q to quit an app, a hotkey to show the desktop (right option for me), command-shift-5 for screenshot, and allow these via Universal Control.
19. The Battery Widget on one device can show battery information of other devices as well, and not only the bluetooth ones. Like, I’d like to know how much my Apple Watch is charged on my iPad. #WWDC, #AppleWatch, #iPad
20. Food nutrients/ calorie tracking in Health app. Please do include Indian meals/ partner with an existing database, else don’t do it.
21. Renew #Severance for Season 2.
23. Stop making fuck into duck.
24. Redesign the #AppleHealth app.
25. Allow Shortcuts to be added in Control Centre, please!
26. Python for XCode! I know all developers want this.
27. Make better use of this information. Since I can’t accurately add my home address to my contact card (due to apple’s limited map info in India), this should be used by Maps. 
28. More emoji react options for iMessage, now that even WhatsApp is getting those. #WhatsApp #iMessage
29. Let me type this, Apple? A number pad is possible for Apple Watch Series 7. Pressing +- is, uh, slow. But I guess most people wouldn’t be changing it by a large number.
30. Auto-reply to calls which are not allowed in a focus mode with a customised text.
32. Adding Eye Test results in #AppleHealth. Surprised to see that Hearing Test results are there, but Eye tests ain’t.
33. Would even love to have an option to track medicines in #AppleHealth.
34. Option to not add screenshots in my iCloud camera roll. I don’t want them there. I don’t want them taking my iCloud space either.
35. Select Apple Watch Face from the Focus settings. I know I can create an automation from Shortcuts, but very few people know about that app.
36. Which #Shortcut am I running, it’s such a pain to find out individually. Just show on this screen. It’s an easy OOP call. “Run” + Shortcut.getName();
37. Add more such cities! Long shot, but I’d love to see Leh here.
37. Under complications for an #AppleWatch face, can we get icons for the shortcuts here? Quite confusing to find what I’m looking for. Nor are they sorted alphabetically.
38. Add iPad and MacBook to the Data Sources here. Otherwise the entire point of the Headphone Audio Levels data is useless. #AppleHealth #AirPods
39. Let us edit the data from “Show All Data” in #AppleHealth app. Just removing it isn’t the way to go.
40. Can I activate a particular focus mode directly from the beginning of an event. Going on a date, please automatically set it to Personal. Have a Work meeting, please set it automatically to Work.
41. Shouldn’t there be an option to turn on driving mode automatically when I start driving navigation on at least #AppleMaps, but also #GoogleMaps?
42. Just straight up don’t show the Public Transport and Cycling icons based on my location? #AppleMaps. And please roll them sooner🥲
43. Sound Recognition without turning off “Hey Siri” #Siri
44. Find a way to fit this in a single snapshot with the award’s image?
38. I want the wait to be for a few minutes. There’s got to be an easier way for this?
39. A share button here, please. 🥺 I LOVE the design of Fitness app’s shared stuff when they’re sent on iMessage.
40. Stop asking me to run certain automations. They’re automations for a reason. Although for privacy reasons and stuff, I doubt #Apple will do anything about it.
41. Like the Apple Mail app combines all different email accounts and shows a combined inbox, would love to see that on iMessage, merged on the basis of contacts. WhatsApp, Telegram etc can be a part of it.
Although I’d be worried about the fetching time, something that isn’t great on Mail app for non-iCloud accounts.
42. Drag Safari’s tabs from #MacBook to #iPad using #UniversalControl. Can be expanded to dragging windows of #ApplePages, #AppleNotes, Mail etc as well. Similar to #Handoff, which already exists for years. Seems like the logical next step for this revolutionary tech. #WWDC2022
43. Tags for photos in #ApplePhotos.
44. A new file type for screenshots, so they can change depending on the dark mode/ light mode setting.
45. Rollout of Fitness+ in more countries, hopefully including Hong Kong and India.
46. A revamp of these tools in preview. I find it so hard to find the crop button.
47. Really wanna be able to see more than just these 5; with a larger screen in Series 7, it should be an option.
48. Widgets for the #AppleHealth app, where you can select the info and see those for the day.
49. Add a “Climb X flights for the next Y days to get back on track” for all such trends.
50. Something in between light mode and dark mode, maybe? Idk what it would be 😂
51. Not gonna happen, but can I put a 11th widget in the stack, please? 😂
52. Allow searching in Hindi for Hindi songs.
53. Share Apple Music lyrics on other apps than iMessage. I LOVE the way it shares on iMessage though, can directly hear that part, and it looks so so so beautiful. It’s a win-lose situation. Just start using iMessage, guys.
54. Sync #AppleMusic on #AppleWatch from macOS, iPadOS and tvOS as well. Or, actually, from the Samsung TV app as well, which needs a LOT of improvement.
55. Add AirTag on more than one AppleID.
56. Add live activity rings on the workout screen
57. Add such stuff to Reminders (and by association, Calendar)
58. Share Automations from the Shortcuts app.
Officially, it should on the Fitness app, but it doesn’t for me.
60. Combine screen downtime into focus mode? Just a thought.
62. Save and rename Desktops on #macOS, so you can just click one icon on dock, and the apps open with the same position as you intend. I’d have a “social media desktop”, covering my screen by Twitter, WhatsApp, iMessage and more.
63. Revamp of #Safari - not by design, the new design is excellent. But, by practicality. So few extensions support it, some websites even crash.
64. Combine #PhotosMap with #AppleMaps, I wanna be able to easily jump between the two. Add an option in the #Maps app to see my pictures from that area and vice versa. #WWDC #WWDC22
65. A quick setting on watch so that my notifications come only on my watch for the period it’s on. Can be useful when someone else’s holding my iPhone for whatever reason. #AppleWatch #iPhone #WWDC22
67. Add unconfirmed events to Calendar.
68. Update weight and height in Medical ID automatically from the data entered in #AppleHealth.
69. My alarm list is too long, too difficult to find what I’m looking for. It definitely doesn’t need to be this way. There can be a better design choice.
