1) New standards to be set for education, health and care building on the 2014 Children and Families Act
2) Simplified EHCPs. Plans to digitise plans to support flexibility and reduce bureaucracy. Parents to be supported to make choices using a list of appropriate placements.
3) Councils to be required to develop ‘local inclusion plans’ bringing together education, health and care services from early years through to post-16 education.
4) Oversight and insight through ‘local inclusion dashboards’.
5) A new national framework for councils for banding and tariffs of High Needs. Intended to match the national standards and make the level of support expected clearer.
6) Supporting mainstream schools to more inclusive, with a focus on better identifying and supporting needs through earlier intervention and better targeted support.
7) SENCo NPQ for school SENCos and focus on increasing how many staff have an accredited level 3 qualification in early years settings.
8) A reformed and more integrated role for AP with a new delivery model focused on early intervention. AP will be integrated in local SEND systems and there will be improvements to settings and funding stability.

4) From spring 2023, all state-funded schools are expected to submit the length of their school week via the spring collection of the school census.

1) Ambitions for #english and #maths outcomes by 2030: 90% of primary children to achieve ARE in reading, writing and maths and the percentage of children meeting ARE in "the worst performing areas" to have increased by 1/3.
2) At secondary, the national average GCSE grade for both English Language and Maths to have increased from 4.5 to 5.
