 In the morning of 9 January Kairat was taken to the Zavodskoy Police Department. What happened after that was a living nightmare. Kairat was brought to the gym of the Police Department where he saw 15 handcuffed citizens lying on the cold floor.

 That inhumane ill-treatment of the young people by the law enforcement officers makes your blood run cold. That horror, and terror, and pain they went through are beyond any description and hard to share.

 On 9 March, a man, who introduced himself as an associate of the Police Department “Saryarka”, #SULEIMENOV Nurbek called Tabys and invited him to the Police Department regarding his participation in a peaceful protest on 4 January 2022.

 The policeman summoned the activist over the phone without explaining the meeting agenda, as required by law. Also, like all peaceful citizens, Tabys did not commit any violent acts or riots at the rally.

 In the afternoon of 10 January 2022 two police officers came to Zhumabike's house and took him to the Police Department. There, he was forced to write an explanatory note.
Then, he was taken to the Zavodskoy Police Department where he was held for 24 hours.

 He was tried on 11 January 2022. The judge sentenced him to 15 days of administrative arrest. According to YESHIMBETOV Zhumabike, the protesters were tried one after another within 3 minutes allocated per each. There were no lawyers with them.
