Court referred to the rehabilitation process of the people who came to India post-partition and got rehabilitated in different districts of the then composite Punjab with property allotted to them in terms of the property left behind by them in Pakistan, on verified claims.
Court said, "The Government of Haryana may look into the issue from that angle to rehabilitate the Kashmiri Pandits who were displaced from their ancestral homes in Kashmir due to terrorism". #KashmiriPandits#Kashmiripandit

Order: Chief Secretary of every State will be responsible and make suggestion to advisory committee for the safety of the Dam.
We express a hope that the competent authority will work towards the safety and this is only a temporary arrangement.
Order: The Supervisory Committee can also entertain the application and suggestions of the Locals for the safety of the dam and address it in a time bound manner.

#SupremeCourt hearing plea seeking removal of GST and income tax on the Haj services provided to Hajis of India in Saudi Arabia. It is performace of Haj and Umrah and certain services are provided for the performance of Haj. Services include Air tickets, currency exchange, etc.
The plea is challenging the levie of tax on the services availed in Saudi Arabia.
However, the bench said that the payment is made here in India and finishes here in India.
Counsel: Milords, it is very important where the service is consumed. The Statute says that tax will be levied where the Consumer is located. According to us it's not the correct approach.
