 Faizullah #NURGELDIN, aged 46, according to his brother, went to support peaceful protesters in the city of #Aktobe. Later, tear gas was used by the security forces, and so he and other protesters proceeded to leave the square.

 On 3 Jan.2022, after participating in a memorial ceremony to mark 40 days after the death of Aron ATABEK,43-year-old former history teacher Kalas #NURPEISOV was sent to administrative detention for allegedly "violating the law on peaceful assemblies".

 On 5 January, he and several others were released from an administrative special detention facility without any explanation.

All of them, together, decided to go to the square to participate in a peaceful protest.
