It's the month of #Ramadan and most of the Muslim community is observing a strict dawn-to-dusk fast in a disciplined manner.

After breaking the fast, people indulge in Iftar.

Here's what you can try if you are hosting an #IftaarParty at your house.

1. Bhajiya

It's the most basic yet mouth-watering dish one can make for an #IftarParty.

All you need to do is cut your favourite veggies into different shapes, dip them in the gram flour batter and deep fry them in oil.
2. Chana masala

Black chickpeas is one of the healthiest foods that one can have after breaking the Roza.

It's loaded with protein & fibre.

Have this Chana Masala, which is made by sauteing boiled black chickpeas in a little oil and some spices.
3. Keema samosa

It's a popular snack when it comes to Iftar parties which is filled with minced chicken and spices.

These samosas are deep-fried and offer a treat to those who have fasted the whole day.
4. Shawarma

This dish is made by wrapping the delicious chicken mixture in a bread that's more like a roomali roti but is very thin like a tortilla.

Along with the chicken, shawarma has garlic chutney,
veggies and French Fries in it.
5. Baida roti

It's a lip-smacking and delicious combo of flavourful meat and eggs in a crispy roti.

What else would you need when you have a roti stuffed with meat and eggs?

Baida roti is not just stomach filling but it literally treats the street-food lover in you.
6. Malpua

No party is complete without a dessert.

How about some desi fried pancakes?

Malpua is a deep-fried sweet dish prepared with a
batter made of wheat flour, jaggery, semolina, milk, khoya, coconut and fennel seeds.

Once fried, it is soaked in flavourful sugar syrup.
7. Haleem

It is a popular dish for Iftar and is made using several lentils, grains, chicken chicken stock, ginger-garlic paste, onions, chillies and a melange of spices.

This dish is loaded with nutrients and is quite good for your health while it fills your stomach.
8. Rooh afza sharbat

No Iftar party menu is complete without this drink.

It's a popular drink during #Ramadan and is quite refreshing and delicious that rejuvenates the body after fasting the whole day.
