"McKinney ISD in no way supports obscene or pornographic materials of any kind in our public-school libraries."

False. He doesn't tell you his definition of those terms means only those already adjudged as much by a judge and only on a case by case basis.
"On rare occasion, it is possible that a book ... could slip through the cracks...."

False. He doesn't tell you his books come from lists recommended by others that are known to make inappropriate materials available and other superintendents aren't so fooled.
"there is an appropriate process in place for the district to review and re-consider these materials"

False. The process is not appropriate. It is set by out-of-state American Library Association precisely to keep inappropriate materials in the hands of school children.
"school library books are being used as a political ploy to rile voters up in advance of the upcoming elections"

False. #McKinneyISD parents legitimately oppose books having graphic CSAM--it's not a "ploy." This superintendent is pointing fingers to cover up school grooming.
"library media specialists take great measures to ensure that library resources are safe and appropriate for students"

Absolutely false. That's why kids are getting CSAM in Texas schools like @McKinneyISD in the first place. They are trained by ALA TxLA to filter NOTHING.
"Parents ... can provide librarians with a list of books or topics that their child is not permitted to access."

True, but he doesn't say librarians routinely brag about going behind the backs of parents. Such lists become reading lists instead.
"Many ... asking the district to ignore its own district policy are not residents of McKinney ISD..."

True, but he leaves out that out-of-state Chicago, IL, based American Library Association is driving all the policies that expose school kids to CSAM in the first place.
"The district has a process for reviewing books that parents feel should be removed from libraries."

"Parents feel." Already the superintendent is setting up the parents for failure by framing this as merely an issue of what parents "feel."
"district carefully adheres to board policy for removal of library materials"

False. The policy is merely a locally contrived version of what American Library Association from Chicago trains school librarians to create to keep the CSAM in schools. District adheres to ALA or TxLA
"Board of Education v. Pico, a 1982 Supreme Court decision, explicitly establishes that the district cannot arbitrarily remove books because it disagrees with the subject matter."

False. "Pervasively vulgar" books may be removed immediately. No need for "reconsideration."
"district enables parents to limit what their child has access to in a library"

False. It's a fake security blanket. The school should not allow inappropriate material in the first place. That's the school's job, not ALA TxLA indoctrination of kids, parents, media, politicians.
"Our library media specialists routinely evaluate materials and work hard"

Here he is with that lie again. If the school has CSAM, then they didn't work too hard, did they.
"academic and literary value and that they are age and subject matter appropriate"

False. Because that's the excuse used for CSAM, that, say, "Gender Queer" has value and is age appropriate. It is not. And it's not a "political ploy."
"Our teachers and staff chose this career expressly because of their desire to care for and protect children, suggesting otherwise is misguided and irresponsible."

False. This is guy is deluded, deluding you, or so behind the times it's not even funny.
"Please do not allow political posturing to impact your perceptions or relationships with the over 2,800 dedicated teachers, librarians and support staff in McKinney ISD."

There's the "political ploy" lie again. It's deflection. He's grooming.
