From updates by the poster: the surrogacy community has banded together to raise money. The anti-surrogacy groups are pushing an agenda.
New Hope Surrogacy who posted on Facebook are a Ukrainian surrogacy clinic. They removed the post from Facebook overnight.
World Centre of Baby who have offered to arrange and pay for an ambulance to move the baby are another Ukrainian surrogacy agency.
As I understand the law (always happy to be corrected) in Ukraine the surrogate mother is not the legal mother, the commissioning parents (who have to be a married heterosexual couple) have to be present in Ukraine to arrange papers, a birth certificate with them as legal parents.
The CPs have rejected the baby and he has no name. I assume no birth certificate or legal papers?
If he is coming to the UK rather than simply being evacuated to neighbouring country, it is likely CPs are British.
Is the home office involved in arranging the necessary documents?
With no legal parents, assuming he needs ongoing hospital treatment, I think a UK hospital will have to offer/agree to take him.
I would think the hospital would then need to have him made a ward of court and a guardian ad Litem would need to advocate for him.
Social services would arrange temporary fostering and eventual adoption.
So it really isn’t as simple as a random person (who appears to have connections with the Ukrainian surrogacy industry) arranging transport and bringing him here.
Meanwhile I have reported the gofundme as there simply isn’t enough information to verify any legal processes around this or what is going on with respect to the baby.
I strongly advise caution regarding the fundraiser.
