Due to lack of time I couldn’t rebut but will clarify in this thread.
She may respond should she have enough substance. Watch out as I populate the thread.
She alleged that I was misquoting the report as people from USA are not so gullible to talk about wrong issues
The Report clearly talks about Stan Swamy and questions why UAPA being put on him.
Fact of the matter is that NIA did file charge-sheet with evidences.
The charge-sheet did talk about his strong connection with CPI-Maoist through the letters exchanges between him and other Maoist Comrades?
Do u doubt those letters @_sabanaqvi where he clearly talks about offensive against so called "Fascist Government" through Dalits & Muslims?
Weren't literature of Naxal Movement for five decades, CPI-Maoist Press Releases, Circulars issued by Central Committee found?
I'm sure you know what is this "Central Committee" @_sabanaqvi ?
There is lot more about Stan, but I found that what irritated you most was when I began to speak about Khurram Parvez & CAA.
So wasn't Khurram really writing "Secessionist Literature"? Or can you defend it @_sabanaqvi to pass blame on Indian Govt for he being tried for UAPA?
The NIA did speak about his direct link with Gautam Navlakha too,who was quite instrumental in linkages between Maoists & ISI.
Do u have doubt the communications between Navlakha and Ghulam Nabi Fai? If so how do u erase former's attendance in KAC conference organised by Fai?
Well, @_sabanaqvi do you know Fai was arrested by FBI in 2011 for accepting funds from ISI?
Isn't it interesting that a US agency is supporting someone today who held strong relationship with someone arrested by US a decade back? archives.fbi.gov/archives/washi…
The report (prepared by not so gullible people as stated by you) then @_sabanaqvi talks about a case where people faced UAPA for tweeting about attack on Mosque in Tripura.
Truth is that it was fake news and indeed such fake news must invite such actions which causes disharmony.
Here is the report which talks of the the fake news of Mosque Burning.
What else you expect @_sabanaqvi for such people to happen? Lay red carpet?
It is so unfortunate that the fake news makes to the report of so Intelligent People of USA. news18.com/news/india/fak…
The report next talks about the "Anti Conversion Law" as being another evil & reason for attack against minorities.
Well, the law clearly talks about action against forced & fraudulent conversion. Do you disagree with this law @_sabanaqvi ?
Now as the report talks about the violence against targeted community because of this law, I find it absolutely silly.
You can't let an act of criminality (forced conversion) prevail just because you wish to link that law as other reason for criminality.
The truth of the matter is that Article 25, guarantees the freedom of conscience, the freedom to profess, practice and propagate religion to all citizens.
Then how can this act do justice to non-proselytizing faith of Hindus?
In that case, Anti-Conversion Law actually brings everyone on parallel plane in terms of law.
One can not get away in the name of Article 25 by force converting someone.
That apart the article 25 also talks of the guarantee being subject to public order, health and morality.
Recall @_sabanaqvi , the case Stanislaus v. State of Madhya Pradesh, 1977?
What had happened here?
The court had held that "Right to Convert" can't be brought in same page as "Right to propagate."
This happened so rightly because, the moral and public order will be decided by the subjects.
The public order will be decided by the one that belongs to one which is defined by Article-1, India: That is Bharat.
Bharat is the civilizational state which relies on the morality from Hindu Ethos, though @_sabanaqvi you may hate it.
Bharat is the name of the Vaidik Tribe to whom we all declare our root to.
In our civilization, "to make conversion happen" has no place and hence the public order & morality asks you not to "convert."
Which country can ever have public order or morality decided by the ideas of foreign land?
There is an interesting point to note.
Parsis have always been glad to Hindus and they molded themselves in order which would never hurt the Hindus for they saved them in worst crisis.
Going by the propaganda tool, the @USCIRF talks about CAA being discriminatory against Muslims.
What an irony? The CAA was for the cause of persecuted minorities of Pakistan, Afghanistan & Bangladesh.
Why should @_sabanaqvi Indian Muslims have problem with this?
No @_sabanaqvi , but some Tahir Hussain has to come and plan the pogrom against Muslims and further cry victim that Muslims are being persecuted.
Some Sharjeel Imam has to come to talk about separating Assam from India. Some Umar Khalid has to provoke and tell lies.
Yes, IB Officer Ankit has to be stabbed so many times and more but yes...@_sabanaqvi has to cry Muslims are under threat.
To be honest Indian Muslims if have someone to fear are people like you who you use as your pawn for malicious agendas of which Navalkhas are bigger players.
Then the report talks of Assam but didn't Hindus too see the problem? Was it only about Muslims?
Well as far as NRC is concerned it was not implemented in Assam for loopholes and the why should @_sabanaqvi and allies be so irked without even reading the draft of NRC?
The continual narrative is that Muslims are being persecuted but the moment it comes out with evidence about the continual attack on Hindu Mandirs, processions, when some Harsha Hindu is hacked to death and some Shivam has to be stuck to ICU for celbrating Ramnavami,
You say don't generalize.
Why didn't your heart bleed for the Hindus who are being continually raped, killed in Bangladesh, Afghanistan & Pakistan?
You heart didn't even bleed when the Muslims were burnt to ashes in Birbhum by TMC goons.
It is too far fetched to expect that our heart will go for a Kamlesh Tiwari who is killed just because he mocked Muhammad.
You will only cheer for intelligent people (not so gullible) who authored @USCIRF report, because they caught on @myogiadityanath , under whose watch Riots have stopped to happen.
You will not cheer for him though irrespective of religious bias, he has removed all Loudspeakers
It is so baffling to know that you @_sabanaqvi didn't got baffled by the report, which said not a single word about the WB Violence against Hindus being orchestrated by the TMC.
Perhaps @MamataOfficial is the CM who has let maximum political violence occur under her watch.
The crux of the matter is this @_sabanaqvi that enough propaganda has been spread against Hindus and India.
Now that Hindus don't let you supersede the narrative to blanket the atrocities against us, your shops seemed to be closing.
Well, you were so peeved when I raised the matter of Khurram, but how will you hide the facts around what actually happened in Kashmir?
I observed an interesting thing while chronicling the life of Babur.
Although Babur has not penned the patch between 1509-1519 AD, many recent historians have written the account being very sympathetic.
I’ve taken a different approach to cater to this issue.
I have used the excerpt from Baburnama translation by Annette Beveridge for this period. She has used the secondary sources like Tarikh-i-Rashidi & works of Ferishta.
This is just like chronicling the events.
I’m added it in Appendix.
Perhaps this approach may set free the tale of Timurid Colonisation beginning from the generic academic biases.
As a keen History Researcher,I have been aware but you brought the zithers in my spine.
2/n Here I'm going to put across my takeaways from #TheKashmirFiles
A)@vivekagnihotri , it was very important to give the background of term "#Aazadi" & how it was highly sinister of the #JNU students to orchestrate it.
It only meant making Kashmir "Dar-Ul-Islam".
3/n One will never know it until they have cared to read the history of #Kashmir during the era of insurgency.
What freedom, those Islamic Gangs were talking of? It was an absolute freedom from "Dar-al-Harb" which was state of India.
It is been almost 1000 days since the great professional historian #AudreyTruschke blocked me for just fact-check on #Hindutva.
& her audacity kept thickening.
Recently she made baseless allegations of plagiarism on @vikramsampath
Each charges made by her appeared so laughable & was exposed so well by @sanjeevsanyal
But then came the time to look at her own works. One would expect looking at her charges that her book would be full of citations way more than Dr Sampath in terms of % but...
I was taken aback. The size of her biography on Aurangzeb itself has total size= size of @vikramsampath ‘s citations.
Interestingly she quotes so many people but the book is devoid of any citation, footnotes, referencing. Check these pages
