Workers with direct COVID-19 patient care must have incomes under $350k (married)/$175k (single); all others have incomes under $185k (married)/$85k (single) #thread

You must apply to @mndli and you will ONLY have 45 days to complete an application for a frontline worker bonus (but great to see that #multilingual help line & applications will be offered) #thread

Bonus payments of $1,500 per worker & THANKFULLY, do NOT affect worker’s or their dependents’ eligibility for @MinnesotaDHS programs such as: housing support, food, income assistance, child care, Medicaid waivers – frontline workers are also #caregivers #thread

This bonus is in addition to $50m ARPA retention/recruitment bonuses that @MinnesotaDHS & @GovTimWalz paid to nursing facility employees in Jan. '22 #end

P.P.S. Yes, there is a possibility actual bonuses would be less than $1,500, but it depends on the # of people who apply (300k applicants = $1500 bonus; 600k applicants = $750 bonus). $500m is capped spending level
