It seems the slogan ,”farmaajo is rigging the election”, has become some sort of a free ticket/shield that allows certain individuals to actually rig the election without being held accountable !!

How/why does this actually work ??

• Projection. Subconsciously pressuring others with your own flaws, sometimes in words, in order to present yourself better or in order to feel better about yourself.

In somalia’s politics the art of projection has transformed into what one could call the art of protection. It act’s as a safe passage/shield one utilizes whenever he wishes to commit the exact crime he just accused the other of.

Well how do they actually do it and why do people go along with it ??

One good example is pm rooble who on multiple occasions publicly accused prez farmaajo of trying to rig the elections whilst he openly took control of the election and massively rigged it in his favor.

The reason some people go along with it is because of propaganda and the fear of violence that is coupled with it. They make sure there is a psychological pressure on the population and a huge probability of violence erupting if they dont get their way.

Research shows that the threat of violence or fear of death or lose of property is necessary for such projections to have any succes in a society. In somalia the warlord formation made it clear to the people and even showcased they were ready to burn down the whole city !

The warlord understands that the people want peace and want to avoid violence at all cost so after having scared a part of the population they can now proceed with acts of projection whilst committing the crimes they accuse the other of themselves.

We saw 2 former prez a former prime minister and former mp’s all united in the capital and the only violence they were capable of was setting up road blocks in a couple neighborhoods in the capital. 🤣😅🤣

But the international media was present and made all the predictions necessary and the tweets of western diplomats was to amplify the fear of violence and every report had as underlining message if farmaajo comes back the whole nation will burn down !

Then there was 🇸🇴 ’s debt relief that from the get go was meant to influence 🇸🇴 ’s political course ! The 🇺🇸 amb to 🇸🇴 larry andre said that if there is not an election on time somalia’s debt relief might be in danger here he is is trying morally justify rooble’s rigging.

Another form of projection was when pm rooble unconstitutionally tried to take control of the somali armed forces & illegally take over the country I.E a coup d’etat and they refused based on the constitution therefore he accused “PRESIDENT” farmaajo of a coup attempt ! 🤣
