During the last hearing Uttarakhand was asked to ensure there is no hate speech in the event scheduled at Roorkee and Delhi police was asked to file a "better affidavit" after it claimed that there was no hate speech per se in Delhi #DharamSansad event
Post the hearing, Roorkee administration did not grant permission to carry the event at all. On the other hand, @DelhiPolice In it's another affidavit stated that a FIR was already registered concerning the Delhi event in first week of April
SC: This matter will be taken up on May 19 along with other hate speech cases #hatespeech
Adv Nizam Pasha submits that this case concerns dharam sansad event and where pre-emptive action may be needed.
SC: We will consider on May 19, 2022. We will take this part by part.
