I have a question about the laws announced in today's #QueensSpeech:

The UN say they break international law on refugees.

🇬🇧Parliament's Human Rights Committee says they violate our right to protest.

The HOME OFFICE says their own laws are racist.

Will our media mention this? Image
OK I'm gonna have to do a video on this shit.

OK, Youtube version is done:

Today Dominic Raab blamed the EU for the fact that the DUP are holding Northern Ireland's government hostage over a Brexit Deal he negotiated and got elected on.

He wasn't challenged about this on either #Ridge or #Raworth.
Disclosure:
Here are the unedited clips from @RidgeOnSunday
& @BBCPolitics.

#Ridge blames the Tories & #Raworth blames Brexit for the Northern Ireland crisis.

But both then let Dominic Raab blame the EU without challenging him, and then when asks to move on, they both do.

I'll vote Labour when they commit to giving us a fair voting system.
#LocalElections2022 @UKLabour @TheGreenParty
In response to the predictable comments:

The Tories have held absolute power for 46 of the last 76 years despite the majority voting to the left of them in almost every single election.

That makes FPTP the most right-wing policy in UK politics.
And Labour currently support it.
So you can shout at me for using my vote to protest against that, or you can shout at @Keir_Starmer for continuing to help the Tories win LONG TERM.

Your choice. 👍🏿

🔻Unlawfully shut Parliament to take power
🔻Unlawfully sent 25,000 untested patients into care homes. (Today's High Court ruling)
🔻Unlawfully failed to disclose the Covid contracts they gave to Tories
🔻Unlawfully partied in lockdown

How many people died due to Tory Crimes? 🤔
The "Party of Law and Order" unlawfully shut parliament in order to run down the clock towards No-Deal, and avoid letting people vote on their Brexit deal.

So they rose to power by breaking the law.

They then broke the law by sending 25,000 untested patients into the most clinically vulnerable environments in the country.

This was within 3 months of taking power.

Every Tory minister is saying they can't help people stay warm/fed as the economy can't afford it.

Will ANY TV interviewer ask if they'd be able to help more if they hadn't wasted billions on corrupt contracts & trashed the economy via Brexit?

#Ridge #Kuenssberg #PESTON @Peston
I mean, this isn't complicated stuff.

The Tories have spent months saying that there's a ceiling on what they can do to help people.

And NOT ONE OF YOU is asking whether the Tories bear some responsibility for how low that ceiling is now.

Feels like basic journalism to me. 🤷🏿
FACT:

Every penny they wasted on dodgy contracts & every pound lost on Brexit, could have kept people's homes that little bit warmer and their kids' bellies a little bit fuller.

By not making that link, you're abetting that suffering after-the-fact.

If you think Rishi Sunak and the Tories care about the people freezing in their homes right now, please watch.
In the interest of editing fairness, here's as much of Angela Epstein's discourse as I can fit into a reply video.

If you think any of it tips the scales, feel free to let me know. I just didn't think so.
OK, sources:

I was wrong, it was 8 times, not 4 times.

Anyone else go through the process of losing a little bit of respect for two of your childhood idols, one after the other?

First Will Smith and then Chris Rock minutes later when you found out what that GI Jane joke meant?
1) Imagine if Will Smith just walked up, leaned into Chris Rock's mic & chillingly: "keep my wife's name out your mouth".
Violence was not the only option to "stand up for his wife".

2) Rock DESERVING a slap for ridiculing a medical condition, DOESN'T make it a good thing to do.
But this is twitter, so the nuance above has no place here.

It's either Chris Rock should press charges for assault, or Will Smith should have put him in a coma.

There is no middle ground.
