1/ The @CityofStJohns tells me I am to engage in vehiclular cycling. Cool: I got an #ebike and I ride in traffic. Cool: I've had cars zoom passed me at lethal velocities because there is no real bike infrastructure. But... How do I trigger traffic lights?
2/ I've been patiently waiting on the vehicle magnetic sensor with nothing happening and cars behind me. Sorry #nltraffic cars but I literally cannot trigger the light.

3/ The sooner we can convert wasted on street parking (aside from downtown) and convert those to at a MINIMUM painted enforced bike gutters the better.
Pedestrians and cyclists don't match easily. For a casual ride sure but not for commuting.

4/ As an urban designer I've been car focused for a decade. It's literally taken me a month of #cycling to realize how dangerous cars are and how it is very much a choice of death to go #carfree and cycle in @CityofStJohns @CityofStJohns @townofparadise
5/ seriously. I'm 80kg on a 30kg bike mixed with 2,500kg of machine piloted by a distracted person traveling with enough kinetic energy to plow over 50 kids without even slowing down...

7/ Not a single #protectedbikelanes anywhere. Barely useable public transit. @MetrobusTransit needs full regional support 50M$ a year @PaulLaneMHA whip @Dave_Aker @DanBobbett @DarrinBent into gear. No transit only roads. No one way with cycling roads. Nothing... 100% to cars
8/ Hopefully I can help developer's, engineering firms, and municipal governments work on their development regulations to make our communities more sustainable, safer, connected, and healthier before I'm inevitable crushed to death by a #distracteddriver
