We've seen the polls. Remember, those are almost always *province wide* polls.
We don't need to win province wide; we just need to win our ridings. And to do that, all we need to do is #UniteTheVote
But that means getting organized. Here's a thread🧵 of ways you can help:
First and foremost, if you're in #Toronto, you can pledge to #UniteTheVote behind the candidate best positioned to beat Ford's Conservatives in your riding.
If you're somewhere in the rest of #Ontario, you can help by amplifying our message. Follow this account, and join our amplification network on Twitter and Instagram - check here for instructions: notoneseat.ca/take-action
To stop Ford, all we need to do is deny him Toronto seats & hold him to a minority. We need to reach voters in key #Toronto ridings, plug them into our campaign, & unite them behind our candidates. Know some people? Use our outreach guide to connect them: act.notoneseat.ca/ConnectFriends
Are you on Facebook? We have Facebook groups for Not One Seat supporters in every Toronto riding. Look for your riding in our guide, join the group, and then invite your neighbours: act.notoneseat.ca/FacebookGroupG…
We've got a suite of additional tactics and tools to help organize voters in key ridings, all of which can be found on our volunteer tools page. Guides to canvassing, finding local debates, putting up posters - you name it, we've got it. notoneseat.ca/volunteer-tools
Ford has never broken 40% in the polls, provincially. In #Toronto, his candidates often secure even less. *We do not need to convince a single PC voter.* It's not about how popular Ford is; it's about how united we are.
And that is something we decide for ourselves.
We don't just read the polls; we change the polls. It is we who decide the outcome of this election. You have that power - if you take action now.
The way we win this is by snowballing our organizing efforts quickly, across Toronto. But we can't do that alone.
On June 3rd, don't look back and wish you'd tried harder. Every conversation matters. Every new person pledged matters. Every outreach effort matters.
Channel your anger. Channel your outrage. Don't just get mad - get organized.
