Literally #Vyasa means one who explains, elaborates, describes, compiles, arranges. Generally we find the word Vyasa Kartha in the literary world meaning the one who has authored/scripted an article on a topic. In terms of Vedic/Divine literature Vyasa has become a legend. ++
#Vyasa does not indicate/signify the name of an individual. It is a role/status/title like that of Indra or Sapta Rishi that keeps befalling on divine sacred persons based on their merits. +
As per #Vishnu Purana, #Vyasa will be present in every 3rd age (Yuga) of the quartet ie. #Dwapara Yuga to take up the divine literary works, reorganize and edit the scripts (Vedas and Puranas) and to inculcate the spiritual knowledge. +
Thus 28 #Vyasas have passed through... in this #Manvanthara and the divine scripts have been reorganized 28 times. In the first #Dwapara Yuga it was Chaturmukha #Brahma himself and in the second age it was #Prajapathi#Manu who acted as Vyasa; so on & so forth......+
We are currently in the #28th Maha Yuga of this Manvanthara (#Vaivasvatha Manvanthara) in which Dwapara Yuga has already passed through. In this 28th Dwapara Yuga, Lord #Vishnu himself took birth as #Vyasa in order to fulfill the promise given to the sage #Parasara.
Regarded as Aadi Guru, greatest of all Gurus, a Guru of Gurus He is adored even today by one & all; whose powers & knowledge are unsurpassed, responsible for the unassailable, grand Hindu Philosophy, civilization and culture ie. Bhaarateeya Samskriti.
Hindu heritage & culture would be indebted to this illustrious seer Sage Sri VedaVyasaru forever. Perhaps the most befitting way to pay our respects & obeisance to this great legendary divine Sage would be, by living according to his ideals & propagate his noble and divine works.

Sri #Vedavyasara janma bhoomi - #Kalpi (near Kanpur - U. P) on the banks of Yamuna river
Originally Sri Vyasaru was called as #Krishna#Dvaipaayana. Since #Vyasa was dark (Krishna) in colour and born in an island (Dweepa) in Yamuna river he was called Krishna Dvaipaayana; (Dweepaayana)
He was called #VedaVyasa since he had organized Vedas. Since He was descent to Sage #Vasishta he was known as Vasishta #Krishna; He was called #Badarayana since he was an inhabitant of #Badarika forest full of Jujube trees. His hermitage is in #Badari Kshetra. +
But, #BramHa Devaru suggests to Lord Srinivasa that, since the battalion is very big, it may consume lot of time causing delay in reaching the marriage venue. Hence, suggests that only Lord Srinivasa can visit SukhaMuni aAshrama and accept his aAthithya.
What +++
What #anusandhana can be made from this? what could be the #sankalpa of Sri Bramha Devaru?

Kalyaana means marriage/auspicious. When it is the Kalyaana of the Supreme God, the auspiciousness will be in abundance and it will be for the universal welfare and well being of the humanity.
It is highly meritorious if one performs/sponsors or participates in Kalyaanotsavam of Lord Srinivaasa (Venkateswara) and also read/listen to the episode of Srinivaasa Kalyaana from Venkataachala/Venkatesha Mahaatmya.
#GANGOTPATTI (Ganga Sapthami) - What does it indicate?
7th Lunar day (#Sapthami) in the bright fortnight of the lunar month #Vaisakha Maasam is reckoned as #Gangotpatti the day Holy #Ganga (Ganges) emerged out from the ear of Sage #Jahnu. +
After #Vishnu#Paadodbhavi the divine Ganga descended on to the earth making Lord #Shiva's matted locks as its platform,
Ganga followed #Bhagiratha to the Nether worlds to purify the souls of #Sagara Puthras lying in the form of an ash in the ashrama of #Kapila Maha Muni. +
On the way the waters of Ganga submerged the Ashrama of Sage #Jahnu who got annoyed and drank the entire Ganga waters.
Afterwards the Sage got pleased with the prayers of Bhagiratha and others and released Ganga from his ear for welfare of the mankind. +
In our day to day life also we come across several types of Kshobha including Maanasika Kshobha, SANKATA paristhithi
What do we do? do we succumb?
we live with it; we fight back...+
Life by its very nature is a mixture of both good and bad and to live ever adjusting ourselves avoiding bad and striving to linger in the experience of good is to live un-intelligently. +
In Bhagawad Geeta, Sri Krishna gives a call to everyone to discard his defeatist mentality and face wholeheartedly and sincerely the situations in the every green field of his life at every given moment of his existence. +
