Public Sector Enterprises Survey for the Financial year 2019-2020 on the Performance of Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs)

In FINANCIAL YEAR 2019-2020

● Profit of 171 profit-making CPSEs - Rs 1,38,112 crore
● Loss of 84 loss-making CPSEs - Rs 44,817 crore

CPSE has 5 sector based PSU/PSEs
1. Agriculture
2. Mining & Exploration
3. Manufacturing
4. Processing & Generation
5. Services

The Public Enterprises (PE) Survey covers those CPSE’s wherein Government of India holds more than 50% equity.
