@DefenceHQ The occupiers buried at least 16000 Mariupol residents in mass graves on the outskirts. Another 5000 Mariupol residents were buried by the city’s public utilities by mid-March. The death toll in the city could be higher, reaching nearly 22000 civilians killed in the city, though.

The explosion has been reported in the residential area in the temporarily occupied #Melitopol, #Zaporizhzhia region. Most likely the explosion was the result of local #resistance as the city’s inhabitants continued to protest against the occupation.

The first war rape case went to trial. During the Brovary district (#Kyiv region) occupation, Mikhail Romanov, a serviceman of the 🇷🇺 Armed Forces, shot and killed the owner of a house while intoxicated and raped his wife together with another occupant after the murder.

The largest 🇷🇺 bank, Sberbank, is to be cut off from the SWIFT system, as well as 3 more 🇷🇺 state-owned broadcasters. @EUCouncil takes note of the preparation of the Commission’s opinions on the application for EU membership of 🇺🇦 and will revert to the matter in June.

@EUCouncil The 1st day of the European Council meeting concluded with the statement referring to the partial sanction of 🇷🇺 oil among all. The block has agreed on immediately covering more than ⅔ of oil imports from 🇷🇺. The EU is to cut 90% of oil imports from 🇷🇺 by the end of this year.
