1. Here's the as-yet untold story of how Robert Caron of JTG MAGA connected the "ShadowGate" conspiracy theorists to journalist Lara Logan, and how they wound up in DC to assist in the effort to overturn the 2020 election.

3. As Bergy points out, the useful kernel in "ShadowGate," which was released in mid-August 2020, was a false claim about election tech company Scytl that was promoted by writer-producer Millie Weaver.

4. Following the release of "ShadowGate," Weaver was fired by InfoWars host Alex Jones. But she found a new sponsor in Patrick Byrne, who confirmed to Raw Story that he paid for hotel rooms in DC for Weaver, Bergy, Weaver's partner Gavin Wince & pro-Trump podcaster Tore Maras.

5. After Jan. 6, Weaver assisted Rudy Giuliani by collecting and analyzing video to try to frame "antifa" for the attack on the Capitol.

6. Robert Caron, the JTF MAGA spokesman, was in an out of DC from Nov. 2020 through Jan. 2021. His name was all over a doc called "Invincible Argument" that called on Trump to deploy the National Guard to disband Congress.

7. On 1/5/21, the same day conspiracy theorist Jerome Corsi published "Invincible Argument" on his website, Lara Logan tweeted out a link to the PowerPoint Phil Waldron used to brief members of Congress, which called on Trump to use the National Guard to seize voting machines.

Addendum: Thanks to @visionsurreal for the reminder that Caron has been interviewed by the FBI. Per @CNN, Caron said the agents told him they were investigating events that led up to the violence on Jan. 6, & Caron said he spoke w/ the agents about "key people."

1/ H/T @kyledcheney — DOJ revealed in a filing last night that "it may seek to charge several additional defendants and/or seek to add new charges" in the Proud Boys conspiracy case.

I’m at the Hagerstown Speedway for the #TruckersConvoy rally. Hard to say how many people are here but it’s definitely hundreds.

2/ Organizer Brian Brase is vague about what will happen tomorrow. “What that is, is yet to be determined. Bear with us.”

3/ One speaker says “10,000 truckers are trying to get in.” That might be exaggerated, but the speedway is on a two-lane road, and I saw vehicles backed up 2.5 miles

Big news from the trucker convoy:

1/ The People's Convoy (the largest organization) has officially "cut ties" with Leigh Dundas, an anti-vax lawyer who was involved with the Jan. 6 insurrection.

2/ For background on Dundas' involvement, the People's Convoy joined forces with her in early February, & they met on Zoom to iron out logistics. Here's Dundas on 2/4: "US convoy coming soon.... I'm working with a lot of different trucking factions over the next 48 hours here."

3/ It's not clear exactly why the People's Convoy has parted ways with Dundas beyond this statement: "We only have like-minded individuals in our organization and are continually rooting out people that do not have the best interest of the convoy in mind."
