This reminded me of a video by German YouTuber Rezo on Germany's yellow press.
In January, he showed & commented on a video by YouTuber Rob Bubble who read 20 of over 200 German yellow press magazines for a whole year.

Turns out, the German yellow press is just as obsessed with Meghan as media in England, and equally negative. Bc I'm from the age of typewriters, I have filmed this off a screen (not sorry). It is in German, but have a look at the sheer amount of title pages Rob shows for 2021

Throughout the year, there's a neverending collection of scandals, the vast majority complete inventions (divorce reports nearly every month, about the children not being Harry's etc.) - literally hundreds of stories, and they're on almost 50% of the title pages.

No reputation can survive this onslaught of slander, and this is just in one country!
So I was more than pleased that the public recognise it for what it is - a smear campaign - and follow their instincts & hearts.
